Hammocks are made for relaxing and this one gets it right. The duracord material is soft and comfortable and it will withstand the effects of weather. This is about as simple as it gets -- hang it and forget it. What could be more relaxing? The oatmeal color is a very natural, just off-white shade. It is the same color that a white rope will naturally fade to.The Presidential Size is also great if you're looking for a larger hammock. It's plenty big for two people or if you want a bit more room to yourself. It may be too large for some spaces, especially if you want to use it on a porch. It's 10 inches wider than the standard "large" (65" vs 55"). Works wonderfully with the Hatteras L-STGTX Tri-Beam Forest Green Steel Hammock Stand if you don't want to hang from trees or posts.

This is the original PI hammock and well worth every penny. The Duracord is soft and feels like cotton but wears like iron. The hammock is beautifully make and very comfortable. This Presidential is wide, very good size for two adults with room to spare. We are so glad we bought this. Also, customer service is amazing!

This hammock is larger than I expected. Will easily fit two large adults and even more kids. I am 5’4” and am comfortable laying on it crossways in a sling chair fashion. The rope is comfortable too and looks like it will be very durable. I am very satisfied with it and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a large, durable, hammock.

Really fabulous, but measure because it’s truly huge. The company website has all the info. The cords are comfy and softer than other kinds I’ve seen. Really should hold up to good outdoor use, and can hold 3 people easily, but you’re gonna scoot to the center together… because hammock.

This is my third Pawley Island Hammock I have purchased in the last 15 years. I have loved them all. The new duracord product is the best yet. Maybe even softer than cotton fiber. Big enough for my wife and I both, or my son's entire family.

Looks good so far. At first when we sat on it, it sank really far. Have to adjust the chains after you lay on it. I can't comment on longevity. It's also hard to get in and out of. A little bit smaller than expected for a "presidential" size.
