Great bulk tea
This Indian tea is prepared in small granules of leaves that brew very quickly and sink right to the bottom of a cup. The flavor is rich and crisp, perfect with a little milk. At the price, it is a perfect product for when you want a lot of tea and you don't want to think about what it costs. Just writing about it, I think I will make another cup!

Delicious and flavorful tea
This tea is absolutely delicious!!! I actually saw this tea advertised in a Bollywood movie and decided to try it. I grew up on Lipton tea, but when I received this product and tried it, I was blown away by the amazing taste. What I like is that you dont need to use much, one teaspoon gives you a nice cup of tea packed with flavor. My mother who has been using Lipton for 20+ cant believe how much better this tastes. She has officially switched to using this tea now.

Good Value - consistent and tasty
This is one of my favorite 'standard' teas. Perfect for a traditional British brew - taken with a little milk. Great for breakfast but not so strong as to rule out all day use. If you just want a good ol' 'cuppa' without exotic flavorings or other complications then I recommend you give this a try.

SimplyBeautiful keeps sending the WRONG tea!
I love Taj Mahal Black Tea (ASIN: B000JSQDHW). I've ordered it twice though Amazon and both times their shipper (SimplyBeautiful) has sent the Orange Pekoe (ASIN: B007ZI1XQ0).Orange Pekoe is quite common as all the American Tea Bags (Lipton, Luzianne, etc.) use Orange Pekoe. I spend a lot of time in India and have come to greatly enjoy the Bombay Street Tea, which is always made using Black Tea.SimplyBeautiful obviously has a problem in their warehouse: they've got the wrong carton in the wrong bin. Both times, I've reported this to Amazon and they promptly refunded; however, they would not contact the shipper and let them know they have a problem.HOW DO I GET TAJ MAHAL BLACK TEA INSTEAD OF ORANGE PEKOE?

Taj Mahal Tea
I've used this brand of tea for years and I still think it is one of the best teas around. It is quite strong and can serve as a substitute for a cup of coffee. This tea has outstanding flavor and will never taste weak or watery. Just a small amount of tea is needed for a pot of tea, therefore, even 2 lbs. will last a long time. To preserve flavor over time, I keep the tea in an airtight container. A must for tea aficionados!

Satisfying yet economical
Enough Indian and English people have told me that Brooke Bond and Taj Mahal are perfectly fine teas, more than 95% as good as the best, etc, so I finally had to order this Taj Mahal loose tea. They were right, it is *very* good tea and quite a bargain as well! I do like a strong, full-bodied tea and sometimes prepare a masale for chai or add orange peel, vanilla, or other spices and herbs to the morning pot. This tea really stands up and is a good choice for drinking plain with milk or Indian style. It arrives vacuum-packed in a foil (mylar?) bag which is not recloseable, but it's such a bargain it would be nitpicking to complain about the need to repackage upon opening. :)

Great all purpose Black Tea - makes a mean chai.
My father was half-English, and I grew up with tea time, drinking Typhoo, PG Tips, and others. This tea blows all those out of the water. Seriously makes the best sun tea I've ever had. Makes a phenomenal cup of Chai. Add a little vanilla creme stevia and you're in heaven. It's my go-to tea as a student, and I go through it!Don't steep it too long - I cold steep it, and there's no bitterness in doing that.

Decent but not great.
Good for your first cup, before you’ve fully woken up. Not great but not terrible. Mid range tea for someone not really expecting a super fancy tea right off the bat.
