Growing great and getting a lot of attention
This is my first fall planting on a plot the previous owner started. I used 10-10-10 after tilling then spread this product and over-seeded additional Crimson Clover. Planting was the first weekend in September, photos are late-October. Deer in there at all hours. Peas have grown very well, second pic showing a pair of plastic chairs for comparison that the deer haven't topped yet. They seem to graze this equally. 50 yards away is another plot, better moisture content with another product, Domain's "Green Machine". This plot has far more grazing and attention. Very pleased with it so far.

Deer love it!
My family and I have been getting more into food plots for the wildlife on our property....we own 169 acres. As anyone knows who has done this or even attempted, it can be rather expensive. After researching several area stores we found the best price here on amazon. Within a week of receiving we had our Winter Peas and Oat Mix planted. The field that we chose to plant it in is near some apple trees and a natural water source....the mix came up fairly quickly and evenly. I would say that once the grass was about shin high that's when the deer began to find it and it has never been that high again. There are deer tracks all over the field now along with some well eaten grass. I would say this mix has been a success!

Excellent product!
I did very little soil prep and only covered the seeds with minimal amounts of dirt. Yet, all the areas I planted sprouted quickly (with some rain thrown in) and I saw deer munching within a few weeks. Excellent product!

Mostly weeds
2 stars because I've used this seed in the past and had good luck. Planted it last week of July and basically only weeds are growing. Prepped plot properly as mowed 2 weeks before then sprayed roundup and waited 10 days then disced under and planted. 3 weeks later barely anything is growing other than Pennsylvania Smartweed. Kinda disappointed
