Is this thick and strong enough for making wood puzzles and do you have 1/4 inch veneer by 6 inches wide

No!! This is definitely not strong enough to make puzzles. Having said that, the veneers i bought are not 1/4". They were more like brittle paper

These are very thin, like paper. Mine measured .5-.7mm thick. Consequently, there was some cracking in shipping. It was a nice assortment though.

Can you cut this with a cricut maker?

Yes you should be able to cut the veneer with a circuit maker.
