This clock looks great on all our walls. And after running them (we have four now) for two years we've found that they keep near-perfect timeWe LOVE the way it looks in person. It looks just as good as it does in the photos. The cool thing is, the minute hand continuously moves. If you watch it closely you can see that it's always moving. Which is how real time works, isn't it? Real time doesn't stop every second for a tenth of a second and then jump ahead. Real time keeps moving all the time. So it's cool to see time represented as it really is.I was worried that with it not being an atomic clock that it might not be too accurate. Our house was full of atomic clocks because it originally sounded like a great concept - that your clocks would always be on the exact time. But in real life, it just didn't work out that way.When it comes to the bi-annual time changes, the atomic clocks never work right. They either don't update to the new time or they update - but sometimes days and weeks later! And sometimes never. And just tonight one of our last remaining atomic clocks - just out of the blue - decided to update, although this is nowhere near the time change times. It decided to update to 4 hours behind the actual time! (Or is it 20 hours ahead)? I don't know - but anyway it's either 4 hours or 20 hours off! The minute I saw it do that - I came here to order another one of these.The atomic clocks are supposed to give you the most accurate time but when they're anywhere from 1-4 hours off for days and weeks on end - that's not exactly accurate. And you can't manually set them. So I've decided that clocks that can be set manually are the way to go - as long as they're reasonably accurate.So, this clock is perfect. I never have to reset it - except every six months when the time changes. That's it. After 6 months they are literally not more than a minute off. So the twice-yearly update works perfectly.Anyway, we're very happy to have a clock we can just set manually and have full control over. We're tired of the so-called precise, atomic clocks that never work.

I needed a specific size and type of clock to replace an old one that had quit working, so that limited my choices. I found this clock and wasn’t absolutely sure how much I liked it by the picture, but decided to give it a try and I’m very glad I did. I believe this clock looks better in person. I was impressed with how nice it looked when I hung it up. It is very easy to see the time on and is quiet as described. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I agree with most of the reviewers: this is a great clock. Thank you for your reviews mentioning there is no sound from the clock. That was key for me and everyone is correct. It's incredibly quiet. If you want a ticking clock, buy something else. This clock is just the right size and looks great in almost any setting. We have it in the middle of the house and glance at it all the time. It's a great clock. It might be nice if it came in other colors but I think the black works with most decor. Interestingly, there are marks inside the 12 - 12:00 larger marks that would suggest a second hand since it is divided into 60 seconds, but there is no second hand.

We loved the look of this clock, was super quiet. Good size. However, we ran into an issue when we woke up the first morning - the clock was stuck at 4:22. I reset it and that afternoon same thing stuck at the same time. Reset it and wake up the next morning - same issue. The hands are hitting together at this time and will not get past that time. I can see/hear the hands catching. I have emailed the customer service through the company - waiting to hear back - will update when I get more info.Update. They sent a new one and works fine. Small defect in the first one.

This is a large clock that is an eye-catching, artistic display as well as an accurate timepiece. It only takes one AA battery which, when I put it in the back of the clock I thought I must have put it in upside-down since the clock made absolutely no sound at all. I didn't realize that, despite having no second hand, there is a countdown of sorts that you can see as the minute hand silently clicks across the seconds.It is somewhat fragile as you don't want to press on the face too tightly, it isn't a heavy, rugged piece so be gentle. Otherwise, I absolutely love it and I am very picky when it comes to putting something in my space. It looks so much more expensive than it is and I'm so happy I selected this model and this size. It makes a statement and - I always know what time it is rather than trying to see the tiny clock on the cable box under the TV!

The old clock I had in my craft/exercise room gave out and finding just the right replacement isn't as easy as you would think. I scrolled through so many choices on Amazon and finally settled on this one. It turned out to be a great choice for placement over a door. It's easy to read, looks really nice, and keeps good time and best of all, it didn't break the bank. I'm very pleased with this clock.

I am ordering this clock again because I love the clock. When it arrived, the large hand just keeps swinging back-and-forth and you can’t set the time correctly.
