Dependable product for the buck
For my system this controller works just fine. Likes the fact that it's got 2 USB ports, too!Delivery was fast, and Amazon locker pick-up made it very easy away from home.

Seems to work ok. Adjustment difficult

Agreed with previous reviewer: Works OK but uses to much power itself
Used it on my sailboat for the season with a small 10W panel. In a sunny week it would charge my battery OK but it would drain it within a week overcast sky and would continue draining even when the battery voltage reached the set shutoff voltage (which I set to 11 V. One drained it to about 6V. Good thing it is a marine deep cycle battery as it would be shot otherwise. I will take it out and charge directly with the panel which does not reach dangerously high voltage levels even in full sun in July. Definitely not recommended or small systems where every bit of energy created should be preserved. Concerned even for bigger systems because of the drainage past the low setpoint.

it does work fine, but it uses a lot of power it self
it will work perfect for larger solar panels and systems but for smaller systems it will use up useful energy that is coming from the solar panel and the battery voltage can go low.I have used other charge (bought on Amazon) controllers and it has worked perfect in small systems

USB Ports don’t work - display doesn’t provide real-time information
I have the controller hooked up to a 12 volt group 27 battery at 12.8 volts and a 100 watt solar panel. Neither of the USB ports work - why? The unit doesn’t display the solar output voltage, or that battery voltage just the set output voltage which I don’t need to use. Battery setting is correct - just wanted to use this to charge phones. Disappointed.

The connection work good with the solar panel.
It did not light the bulb.
