Usborne Beginners Pirates Hardcover – 1 January 2016

I have bought this book for my 7yo daughters, which are in Year 3 now. They were interested (in fact, they asked for this book specifically), but I think by now they are almost too old for this book. I mean, the content is good, a lot of interesting material, but for the similar price it is possible to find book with more substance.

Great coloured pictures and interesting facts that kept my new reader engaged. Good quality books that last read after read.

Nice book with lots of basic information, maybe I was expecting a little bit more.

Bought these books for my son years ago and he still reads them, so as my nephew is now five I have bought him lots of them for Xmas - they are good quality, great for learning to read and interesting - really keeps their interest - more so than the boring books they get from school!

Bought this for my then 4 year old son and at age 6 he still likes it. Usbourne beginner books are fantastic for young children and present information in small chunks with pictures which keep their interest. Very informative book which has gone into school to support learning in both reception and year one.
