Browne 10 oz Round Au Gratin Dish

Slightly heavy. Good quality glass. Ideal size for veggies, small side salads, etc., ice cream or other desserts. These dishes are an asset to any table. They wash up perfectly by hand or in the dishwasher.

These small dishes are great for heating portions for one. I often use them for heating sandwiches made from sandwich rounds. Very attractive. Dishwasher safe.

Getting much more use than I expected. It's perfect for single serving of almost anything and easy to reheat in microwave. Cleans up so easily, even if "crusty" around the edges. Bought specifically for a brunch casserole recipe that calls for an egg to be baked on top of each serving. This round shape and size is difficult to find (I think Browne-Halco may have discontinued this)... the oval ones seem to be more common.

It's great for baking small items and is a nice serving plate too.

These dishes are the perfect size and work great under the broiler. Very well made. I recommend getting the 10 ounce if you want to use for a side. Anything smaller is not big enough for a side dish.

I use this dish in my toaster oven to reheat leftovers (trying not to use a microwave as much). One great benefit to this dish is that it's wonderful for portion control.

I am so pleased with my purchase. If you're looking for a gratin dish this size, then you will not be disappointed with this one.
