It is Nice..
Some topics may seem a little unrelated, wasn't expecting things like common phrases in the main languages around the world, but it's like a pleasant surprise too; to learn a little more than just wilderness survival, but real world survival..! (Already marked off a couple pages I wanna read/retain the most..) Somewhat random, but also useful information; it's like watching those shows like "Mysteries of the Abandoned" and other history things, where they show information not necessarily related to the specific event/mystery, but they're still interesting facts to know..! And my favorite part is the size of this book, handheld and small, so you really can take it with you around the world so much easier..!

The ONLY reference and field manual you need!
Wow I am very impressed with the ACW manual! It’s compact with a ton of information. The quality is great. It has a lot more information than I’ve seen in other bulky survival guides... and the best thing about it is that the book is small enough you can fit it in your back pants pocket. Although I wouldn’t recommend that. A manual like this should never be bent or damaged... it should be treated like gold and kept safe in your kits. I’m glad it was sealed and protected in a thick ziplock when I received it in the mail. Look no further if you’re looking for a compact manual. It’s brief and gets to the point. ANYONE can benefit from it. Has everything in regards to survival from a list of items and their uses, edible plants, conversion charts, to how to jump a car, a ruler printed on the back, and so much more. It even has facts as well as quotes on the bottom of the pages which makes it very entertaining as well. Every kit or day pack should have one. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. So worth it. I’m definitely buying another one for my hiking backpack. Superior customer service as well! ACW goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. They get back to you ASAP and are quick to resolve any concerns.

Productive Travel Reading
I find the way this is presented to be a little silly, nothing here is going to enlighten you, but if you want an easy to carry distraction while traveling, you can find some useful information that might come in handy later or lead to some interesting ideas. I believe some of the radio information was slightly off but nothing serious and it might just be that those standards change over time. It's a good value, high quality and durable paper. Print quality is good.

To the authors/inventors of this pocket guide: THANK YOU!
I bought this survival pocket guide for my son and he enjoyed reading it. Though really small and hard to read (the magnifying glass is very helpful - it helps me read the really tiny prints and it can make fire), it is very handy and informative. I found some survival topics that I didn't think of before. Great to carry everywhere. Leave it in your car, emergency bag or carry with you in your pocket or wallet. Obviously, this is not a full survival book. This is just a GUIDE. Once you have this guide in your hands, don't just throw it in your bag to be fished out when real emergency strikes and wait for miracles to happen. You need to READ it NOW from cover to cover while there is no emergency yet, so you can research additional info about each topic. This booklet will guide you. Hopefully, we won't find ourselves in real emergencies but being prepared helps a lot.

This is a Must Have!!!
I just opened mine and started reading. Wow, I'm always thinking about little things that would be good for my car the survival kits I make for my family (thanks to Creek Stuart) but this goes far beyond what I have thought of. I love my survival kits for last minute impromptu walks off the beaten path. "Creek Stuart" (you can find him on the weather Chanel on SOS and Would you Survive, and also has the most comprehensive info on edible plants and trees and how to make syrvival items when lost) is a fantastic teacher for getting the average person to start thinking about survival with what you have on hand and teaching everyone to go far beyond that. This particular book is written by the (Cargen Brothers). BUY IT!! I only read this little book for about 5 minutes befor I had to write about it!! It is Packed with info for everyday ordinary little things you need to pack into your impromptu survival car kit!! You will not be disapointed!!

Pocket-Sized but Powerful - The “101 Class” for Survival
Bottom Line: An absolutely invaluable guide, and not just for the typical “survival situation” that comes to mind (e.g., trapped in the middle of nowhere with nothing but your imaginitation and will to live), but in any unexpected situation, urban, rural or otherwise. Full Review: Let me start by telling you I’m a “civilian” (i.e., not active military or a veteran — thank you for your service, to those of you who are, by the way) and even I found this little guy to be amazing. Vital and to the point information that could literally save your life in compact form. It may be small, but it most certainly “packs a punch” with the wealth and variety of information contained within it. Even if you somehow end up not needing it (which I highly doubt will be the case) the price is well worth it. It contains information from how to charge a car battery to how to estimate the amount of sunlight left in the day, from how to properly fold the American Flag to how to obtain safe, drinkable water from urine (and yes, it’s totally “doable”). I’ll be sending one to family and friends and recommend you do the same!

It's Okay
There's a lot of info in this I feel isn't very relevant for most people. For example, the book tells you about how to identify Soviet and American tanks and helicopters. It also goes in on about the anatomy of an M1 Garand rifle. I feel like this book was intended for a very specific group of people during a very specific time period that has long passed since today. But I know that's not the case, because this book was published in 2017. If you want my honest opinion, I believe this book was written by the perspective of someone preparing for some sort of apocalypse or disaster -- particularly with the Russian military. So if you're someone like me that's nomadic, lives outdoors, and just wants to have a booklet with some good general info, you'll find that in this book, but you'll want to keep tabs on what all pages are relevant to you since many will simply not be. Not just that, but there's some information I would've really had liked to see in this booklet. For example, how to find a good place to sleep while outside. It could've mentioned that sleeping besides a cedar tree on an elevated position in a slightly breezy area is the best way to naturally keep bugs off you and help keep you dry. I can appreciate the little magnifying glass it comes with. I know you're intended to keep it in the little sleeve on the book but I keep it housed in my wallet instead. Overall, sure I'd recommend this book, but I also recommend to do your homework if survival is something you take seriously. And obviously information will differ dependent on location
