Great price point for this type of kit.
I play piano and recently got a midi controller, so of course I needed two stands. It's not perfect, if you're touring and you need something a little more solid this isn't for you. If you need something for your living room or maybe the occasional small gig, this will certainly do the job for the price.

Excellent stand, one of the best!
I have been using keyboard stands for over 30 years and this one is by far the best in my opinion. It is very light and sturdy not to mention good looking on stage! Locking mechanism is what I love about it too, Recommend to all!

Rockville Dual tier Keyboard Stand
I think this Rockville Dual tier keyboard stand is wonderful for keyboards like mine, which weigh about 27pounds a piece. There seems to be no wobble with the stand and remains steady. The total weight capacity of this stand is around 110 pounds maximum. I don't feel comfortable putting a 54 pound 88 key piano plus another, let's say 40 pound keyboard on this stand because it would be a bit wobbly. It's a lightweight stand, which I love but heavier keyboards are a bit cumbersome for it. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Rock Solid Stability
I bought this directly from Rockville, which is the 3rd keyboard stand I’ve tried and the first one that’s met (and exceeded) my expectations. This stand is extremely stable!! The competitors’ stands I tried--including another double X that cost $50 more--were very shaky and moved around a lot when playing the keyboard. I also like the lever used to adjust the stand’s height--so much more convenient than the lock mechanisms on other stands. My only complaint is minor: one of the 2 rubber bumpers on the top (that prevent the keyboard from potentially sliding off) is too loose, but I called Rockville & they’re sending a replacement.

Good for home use
Not pro gear, but it keeps the keyboard off the floor, and adjustability is critically important.

On sale, the best keyboard stand I've found.
This is much sturdier than I thought it would be.I have an 88 Key Komplete keyboard and it's heavy. This stand does fine. The spring handgrip adjustment is nice, and when it clicks into place you know it's ready.Duty rating is 110lbs. I balanced my own weight on it (200lbs +. The real weight is secret ;) and it did just fine. THEN I read the duty rating on the box. Oh well. The top two settings are just fine for me at 5"11 1/2 inches tall. Because the tubing is round, I am adding a riser to it using the back ends of the tubing that holds the keyboard.Summary:A good find on sale at $59.99While the bottom doesn't lock into some keyboard bottom pockets, I'm ok with it because of the sturdiness and rubber supports on the ends and the back risers.
