TAG Face and Body Paint - 1 Stroke Split Cake 30g - Bluebird

I have used many different "one stroke" brands like Arty Cakes, Global Art, and others. The Tag ones are the BEST. Use a really good 3/4" flat brush like this one Silly Farm Paint Pal Arty Brush Large (3/4" Flat) or a good white Taklon one, when you want to pick up all three colors and a smaller one if you only want two. Use a small spray mister to wet your brush (do not spray the face paint or the colors will swirl together and you will have a muddy mess). Slide your brush back and forth the entire length of the split cake, loading your brush really well. If you feel it is too dry, spray your brush once again on each side. This paint is highly pigmented and the colors show up brightly on the face. They are excellent for sensitive skin, and wash off easily with soap and water. Some of the other brands do not wash off as easily. I highly recommend Diamond FX white Diamond Fx 45g White Face Paint if you wish to outline your design as it will not pick up the colors of this paint and your finished work will look its best. The case is small (but average for any one stroke), but will last you a long time. I do approximately 15 shows a year and this lasts me the entire time. I use this for "Elsa" crowns, snowflakes, angel wings, clouds, blue flowers, and much more. Decent prise and good quality product.

I love the product when you can get it to work. You need to apply a lot of water to get the color to come off. It does stick very well to the skin once on and last awhile. I was surprised at how hard I had to press to get the face paint off. You also have to make sure you have the right size brush to get all the colors at once. I was happy that it was easy to get off and my three year old had no skin reaction to it.

I liked that it shipped quickly. I dislike that there is bearly any white. I was looking for a blue and white cake....

The paint is fantastic. I have ordered many colors from these guys and use them for all my festival costumes as well as Halloween costumes. It goes on and stays on all day, 12 + hours ! Its solid, doesn't smudge when dry. ( rain does make it smudge ) and washes off with relative ease ( I use Noxema and Makeup wipes ) ( Neon Pink can hand on for longer then 12 hours ! )
