A diamond in the rough
I won't lie, I was VERY skeptical ordering this. But I figured that if its not great, I could sell it. After getting it, this package is amazing for the money. I am definitely keeping it! I own/have owned $5,000+ models and some $100 "disposable" axes and I was shocked at this beautiful guitar. First off, the flamed top is gorgeous. It doesn't have a cheap look to it. The fret board is so so but you cant expect too much here. The frets don't have sharp edges and nicely done. The sealed tuners are smooth and after a minute of the inital tuning (with the included chromatic tuner), I played it for a few hours and it kept proper tune. The overall tone of the guitar is warm and projects well. I got absolutely no rattle or vibration. Then I plugged into the included amp. I will admit, the amp isn't great but but its a free practice amp. So I plugged into my Peavey and man....it sounds awesome. It also came with a so so gig bag, few picks, a strap, a truss rod key, sorta cheap guitar cord, an extra set of strings, and batteries for both the tuner and for the preamp on the guitar. Speaking of that, its a 3 band EQ with a gain control, volume and a battery checker. I paid $140 for all of this and I will say that this is one of the best deals I have gotten in almost 37 years of me playing. If you want a good practice guitar and can even play a show, don't pass this one up. The guitar alone is worth 3x of what the whole package costed me. I think I'll check out more Glen Burton guitars.

For that price! Got to have it!
Awesome for the money! I have had my guitar for about a month now. The guitar itself is worth the money. I play on a 100w amp at church and it sounds good. Definitely not the highest quality but still a good full body sound. (After restringing it. The strings it comes with are garbage) The amp that this comes with is nice ... I actually was using it as a practice amp with my bass and it did fine. Nothing that I could play with any other instruments but definitely can hear what I'm doing. My son also uses it as a practice amp on an electric guitar and it does fine, it doesn't have any functions just meant to be an accustic amp. Definitely worth the money.

Apparently its okay to expect more from this guitar than you would from another "cheap" guitar
While there is no such thing as "cheap" when talking about the price of a guitar (that isn't a toy), this one is above what one would easily expect of a "cheap" guitar. I would even go so far as to say that in my 30 + years of owning/learning/playing guitars, I've never purchased one that I didn't immediately have to file down the nut, adjust the bridge, reset the neck etc, just to get the action set so that it wasn't painful to play... in layman's terms... most guitars , when purchased new, have the strings set so high above the neck that you have to press so hard on them to play, it can be so painful that you dread picking up the instrument... this scares alot of people off from learning in the first place, or makes it very hard to focus on learning.I don't usually do reviews... I can only echo what the other good reviews have already pointed out... its a $140.00 price tag... so don't expect perfection.. but I simply had to mention the action, as I didn't see where anyone else had mentioned it.. Out of the box, the action is as good as any guitar I have (all of which were taken to a local shop where they had to be adjusted to be playable). I will be changing the strings out to something more to my liking, you'll probably want to do the same, however they'll do fine if you're a beginner and just want to get started. But again, my main purpose of this review is focused on the playability of this guitar. I took it out of the box, tuned it (tuner worked well) with the strings it had on it already, and played it rough for around an hour to stretch the strings good, retuned it, then played for 4+ hours, and it only went a little flat in that time. Wipe the strings down really good, this will prevent "some" of the graying that will happen to your finger tips from the new strings, and enjoy it.I rated it overall 5 stars, because it is "more" than I should expect for the price. For that same reason, I also rated the features 5 stars each. The Craftsmanship is "better" than you should expect for the price. The action makes it very easy on the fingers (when compared to "cheap" guitars) which makes it much easier to focus on learning chords/method when beginning so because of that AND the price, it gets 5 stars for "for beginners". For a "full size" acoustic guitar, they don't get any "easier to hold", so it gets 5 stars for that.Tuner: worksAmp: it is a 10w practice amp, and it worksEQ/Preamp: works quite well, was surprised at the bass I was able to get on the small ampThere is a small scuff mark on the face which was covered with finish before it was spotted, but its easily overlooked for the price.I haven't seen this playability straight out of the box on a guitar less than $300.00(and pawn shop guitars are often even less playable as they've been abused by everyone wanting to "try it out" while it was there)

All I can say is 5+ STARS, holy smokes and WOW!!!!
All I can say is 5+ STARS, holy smokes and WOW!!!! ALL that for $140 SHIPPED!!!! AMAZING DEAL!!! The guitar plays GREAT! The color is very beautiful! The sound is quite impressive for the little money spent!!! The little AMP is adorable and works perfectly. All the accessories are great and are the perfect 'icing on the cake'!!! You will need a better gig bag than the one the guitar is shipped with, the gig bag that comes with it is thin and good to keep the dust off but not much more. So, buy a nice gig bag that will fit and your guitarist will be travel ready! I highly recommend this guitar ensemble to everyone! For $140 SHIPPED, you truly won't be disappointed!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJHISTK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6

Best Beginner Guitar Out There!
I got this bundle as a Christmas present for myself. I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and wanted to give this "beginner bundle" a try and I was very impressed. It really has everything a beginner would need! Beautiful guitar, extra strings, multiple guitar picks, a tuner, and even an amp for getting used to playing at live events. If it came with some sort of beginner lesson tutorial it would be perfect. I still play this guitar a ton and have made a few videos using it (and reviewing it) on my YouTube channel. 10/10 would recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great value!
