Nice Read with Solid Information
This book does contain the information needed for someone to use and make progress with for their own health. The explanations are basic, yet detailed enough for adequate comprehension and practical application by the reader. It is a thin book (as another reviewer complained), however, it is wider than most. Really just a different size/style than your typical pocket-sized book. This does not mean there in inadequate information contained within. The font is small, yet not too difficult to read (for those of us needing glasses.) The layout is nice. It is an easy, informative read. I learned some new things and I have been studying nutrition and herbalism for years. I'm not sure how the other reviewer thought there was little benefit of the information within the book because it was small. There certainly is. The price seemed a bit expensive, but not totally out of the ball-park to me, an avid reader. I would recommend this book to other women.

This book was well worth the money for me
I am fighting some chronic health issues and hadn't really considered what was happening to my skin was a great clue to what was going on inside my body. And tho I do not agree with everything in it, I still consider this book to be most helpful and whenever I actually learn several good things from a book I am delighted.

Accessible
Always looking for natural ways to improve life and looks. I was not sure at all about this book when it arrived. After trying the green smoothie and the facial for 2 weeks, I see and feel a difference. I hope they will come out with more books. I don't have tons of time and this book came through with fast ideas that worked.

a bit much
The best part is the recipe for the green drink which is delicious and very healthful. I noticed a tremdous improvement in my own skin. However, the othertreatments suggested for alot of the skin and hair problems are too way out! .

Not worth 27.00
Thin, expensive and resold to me by someone who paid 3.00 on sale. The book was not with the 27.00 that I paid for it.

Phenomenal Book!!
I love the way this book simply explains how through better nutrition we can improve not only our beauty but also our health. It provides plenty of scientific resources without being overwhelming so we can do our own fact checking and learn more about Whole Food Eating . Also, I started on the Green Drink today and feel awesome!

Don';t waste your money. Google knows more than these doctors...
This "book" (booklet, really) is little more than an infomercial for JuicePlus, and a few compounds the author sells on her website. Additionally, some of the info it contains has been disproved by nutritional science. Sad, really, since a better writer (or one without such apparently low attention span) could have created a very valuable work, simply by developing the few sound ideas hinted at here. There are constant references that the only way to be ethical or beautiful is to give up all animal products. Veganism can be a healthy lifestyle, but is certainly not the only one, and in fact misses several key pieces of info. All oils are NOT created equal. Cholesterol is not the dietary time bomb it is made out to be. There is even a vague reference to meat and exercise both being so bad for you, they are included in lists of things such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. And though there was a minor clarification that grass fed meat is certainly better than industrially farmed beef, it was a poorly-developed mention in a small appendix..Overall, the good information was incomplete, and the rest was a hit and run with very little factual info. It read more like a vain anorexic's scatterbrained rant, rather than the medically sound digest the description hinted at. Little to no explanation was given on anything BUT the industrial farms being dangerous (and we've all heard that one before..... nothing new).If the assumption is that your readers already KNOW why these other "toxins" are so bad (including exercise), then why bother writing this little fluff at all?Save your $30. The gist is to eat only vegetables, give yourself daily enemas despite the dangers (which she ignores, but a simple online search can help you with), stop wearing makeup, and believe merely spending your money on this publication will make things all better.

Don't waste your money. So disappointed
So so disappointed with this! Was expecting a book, pretty much got a pamphlet! This book is so overpriced. Little new information, if you follow the author's work anyway you'll pretty much have read this before.I sent it back! If I'd have been able to give fewer stars I would've done!
