Short but fun bedtime story!
Summary: Alfie lost his "Sharkie" and his poor mother just wants him to get ready for bed.As was the first "Alfie" book we read, this one is hysterical in its realness. Anyone with a preschooler will relate to the scattered, seemingly random trains of thought they have. In between putting away laundry and running the bath for her son, Alfie's mom is just trying to guide him through the bedtime routine. Alfie, on the other hand, is on a mission to find Sharkie so he keeps getting distracted. He climbs a tree, gets stuck in his pajama drawer, and does a headstand all in the name of finding his aquatic friend. The illustrations are fun, whimsical, and at times silly- pairing nicely with the sweet story.Cute as a bedtime story or for any child who has ever (temporarily) lost their favorite toy. I sincerely hope we see more from Anna Walker and Alfie!
