Oh my!
I work outside and wanted some gloves that would allow me dexterity while keeping most of my hand warm. I also wanted a good fit. Knit nor leather have worked. I saw these, thought they were a bit expensive, but read the description and crossed my fingers. At first glance I wasn't impressed. A bit thin. I tried them on. Hmm, nice and snug, a good fit. Went to work. Oh my! These gloves work wonderfully! I even put them on cold hands, and my hands got warm! Not sweaty, just comfortable. I really am impressed. They are more than worth price.

Pro:I used the measuring guide and the glove fit true to form. The magnet built into the thumb to hold the flap back is nice and the top can be folded into a little pocket that starts at the reflective strip. I feel the gloves are a good product for the price.Con:My use for the gloves is mainly to keep my hands comfortable while driving to work during our cold winters in IL but to still have my fingers available for touch screen interactions. That being said the gripping material is only around the first two fingers and thumb area of the palm of the glove. I would have given 5 stars had it been applied to the whole palm and the bottom of the flip over mitten. While I realized that would then show on the top of the glove when flipped back I think the functional aspect would be more useful than that aesthetics.

Worth every penny!!
These are so incredibly well made. And all the details make this probably the best pair of gloves or mittens I have ever owned I love being able to “peel back” the mitten part and it tucks so nearly into the little pocket on the back of my hand. And the thumb covers, when not in use, click into place with these ingenious little magnets. This purchasewas well worth every penny. One of my all time favorite Amazon buys, hands down.

Great for running
Great mitten/glove set. Gloves don't keep my fingers warm (maybe I have poor circulation) and you can't do things in mittens like use your phone. Plus, when I'm running I start out cold but warm up so it's nice to adjust temperatures by just flipping the finger cover up. My only suggestion would be to have a magnet for the finger cover similar to the one on the thumb (in addition to pocket because when I'm running I have to slow a bitvto get the covers into the pockets. I also appreciate the reflective fabric strips. Anything to help keep me from being hit by cars in the dark or low light.

Cold-weather astronomy use
I purchased these to use during cold-weather astronomical observing. I frequently need the use of my fingers for writing and making adjustments. What I like about these convertible mittens:- The edges of the fingerless part have a nicer finished edge than other similar products.- The reflective stripe is simple and more reflective than I anticipated.- The magnetic thumb flap.- The pocket on the back of the hand for storing the finger flap.- They come in two sizes--I have small hands, and that's not always easy to find. What could be better:- The little clasp on the wrist for clipping the mittens together is a bit awkward. A quick-release type would be easier to manage.- I do wish that product brands weren't emblazoned on everything--this is a problem not exclusive to this product. I prefer a simple tag, which these mittens already have.Nonetheless, I'm so pleased that I was able to find these mittens.

These are the best casual gloves ever. Warm, not bulky. Mitten part tucks away.
I wear these all the time. They are close fitting & fairly forgiving size wise. They are the best because warm, slim profile/not bulky and the mitten part tucks into a slit on the top of the glove so it’s out of the way. The fingerless glove part is also nice because it goes a little further up the fingers than most gloves.

I would recommend the outdoor research gripper convertible glove instead
They fit well and look sleek, but are not windproof or waterproof, so my hands get cold if I cycle in them unless the weather is very mild. I would recommend the outdoor research gripper convertible glove instead. They block wind a lot better in cold temps and are also water-resistant.

Yep, these gloves truly keep out the cold. I've been wearing them for the past two weeks and its very easy to put on remove the flaps which for an interpreter is an A++. Your hands stay warm even when you need your fingers to communicate.Unlike other mittens I've seen, the top finger flap doesn't extend all the way out to Guam. It wraps nicely over the my fingers with still a bit of wiggle room. I have cleared off snow from my car and walked across my college campus wearing these. I've also driven with them with the flaps on, so I know those don't get in the way.Only con, if I can even call it that, since I haven't felt it in the past few days is the top seam of the finger flap. One time I could feel the wind seeping through the seam, but I haven't felt it since.
