Letters are only 3/4 inch
I bought these because in the "answered questions" area the seller said they were 1''. The upper case letters "with the exception of one Y" are 3/4'' and the lower case letters are 1/2" according to my ruler. Product is well built and if I was looking for smaller letters I'd be very happy with them. However, the projects I was specifically buying these for needed to be 1'' so these are all but useless to me at this time.I gave these a 5 star rating because the product itself is very well made and is a pretty good deal, the description just needs to be more accurate.

Avid crafter LOVES this!
I craft ALL the time and often use Tim Holtz or Diane Reavely stencils so I was hesitant purchasing. These arrived promptly and packaged so we'll. They work GREAT with a marker,paintbrush or pencil by giving a "stamped" look to your altered books!

I know i measured before I purchased, but the area that you must "color" is so thin and tiny my markers didnt work at all! needed pencils to make this work for my project!

Bought them, used them, liked them. They’re stencils, so it’s pretty hard to find bad ones. What more do you want from a stencil review, Amazon??
