Closed cell foam works well for gap filling insulation.
Even using the proper sprayer, this stuff still needs a bit more work than expected. Definitely tune down the force of the spray for most situations (if you needed to shoot 2+ feet away... then maybe go strong on the force of the spray) These cans can certainly be cheaper than paying for professionals to do the closed cell foam insulation in your home.

Hardly covers very many square feet
One can may cover about 10 square feet IF it actually even sticks to the plywood. It is not worth the cost
