My ten year old daughter is loving these books. They are below her reading level and she is able to zip right through them, but loves the characters, adventures, and story line. I know she will be sad when she finishes the whole series. I think my seven year old twins will also enjoy them.

My youngest (7 yrs.) really enjoys "The Last Firehawk" series of books. I purchased the first in the series some months back and he recently asked me to get the rest. I ordered #2-4 and he sat down and read them all, one after the other on a rainy afternoon.

My son has a hard time finding a series he likes but this one spoke out to him. We are anxiously awaiting the next book!

My 5yo son loves this series. As soon as we get one of these books we sit down and read it cover to cover without delay! Great quest adventure story, action, teamwork, tactics, friendship and perservering through adversity.

This is a great book! My son absolutely loves this series. I definitely recommend starting at book 1. The story line and pictures go great together and keep a young readers attention.

We had already read two different unrelated Scholastic book series. Scholastic first chapter books work for us as they have lots of pictures (usually one per page) and yet the storyline is always captivating. We want to introduce chapter books without many pictures, but these books are perfect for the transition from picture books to chapter books (picture books are rather expensive if you need a new one every night).They LOVE the characters and even more so LOVE guessing what will happen next.Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids.Again, loved all of our kids and we have different ages and "grasp of the world".

It’s been hard finding a book series for my son to connect to. He looks forward to our nightly readings, and we can read these together in 4-5 nights.Would recommend to others (and already have!)

Arrived today right on time, in excellent shape. My daughter is very excited to read it, she has the first 3 books from the bookstore and the other books from amazon in this order actually, lol.
