Tourna Pickleball Pickup Tube for Pickleballs - Holds 17 Balls

We recently took up pickleball. Fun sport, we got multiple balls in orange for outdoor play and end the day multiple times a week doing 45 minutes of drills. Didn't realize that bending over and over (ball pickup) was going to be so tough on our backs!! This product solved that issue and makes ball pickup a breeze! We liked it so much that now we have two (one for each of us) and save time and our backs so we can get more practice/play in! The tube is made of sturdy plastic, is less than 4 ft tall, and is not-quite-opaque... meaning the following: - doesn't easily break, and should be around for a long time - a good height to pick up balls for almost anyone (any taller and it would become more awkward for anyone under 5'4") - you can see how full it is through the plastic. As you can see in the above photos, one end has 2 'hooks' holding a big rubber band on, and the other end has plastic pieces protruding. Put the end with the spider legs plastic down on top of a ball and push. The ball pushes in but isn't able to fall back out! Slide the rubber band down and you can empty your tube into a basket, or just use from the tube. - The rubber band also allows you to transport your pickleballs to and from the court. - The plastic molded hooks can be used to hang the tube on a fence so it doesn't roll around (and you don't have to bend over to pick it up). This price fluctuates so keep an eye out for any drops, my only con would be the $39 price point. I think it's a bit high. All in all, this is a great product! I waited for this item's price to drop

First the positives. Large size, easy to use and is a definite back saver. I practice serves etc by hitting 100 + balls that need to be picked up before the next drill. In the first few days I’ve picked up about 600 balls. It seems well designed out of heavy duty plastic and the length is great for someone my height (6’.) I definitely recommend this product. The negatives are. It’s way overpriced for what it is. The margin on this thing must be impressive! Capacity is 16 balls not 18 as claimed. Not a big deal. For shorter folks the length may not be ideal. I’m concerned that the rubber band that keeps the balls from falling out the discharge end of the tube won’t last. Although tbh it’s more likely that I’ll lose it first. This is a bit of a design flaw. There is a sticker on the tube to measure the net height at the post and the center. That’s a nice touch ,however, The sticker isn’t placed accurately so it’s about 1/4” short. I’m not nearly consistent enough for this to matter to me, but still. Finally, and this is more Amazon than the seller, It came shipped in a box big enough to hold a child’s mattress with no other packing materials. The product itself didn’t come with extraneous packaging but the choice of shipping box undid all of the good efforts to reduce packaging. Amazon can do better!

This tube is best of picking up pickleballs. I have a different brand and you really have to push on the pickleball to get it in the tube, which often causes your hand to hurt when you place it on the top tubs of this other brand. Tourna Pickup, is gentler and hold more balls. Great durability too. My pickleball coach has one too, actually two of them for us to pick up balls with.

This is the best pickleball pickup tube on the market right now. Don’t cheap out and buy a big name brand like Franklin Sports. Trust me, this one is better. There’s a reason why so many pickleball coaches across the country, from California to New York, use the Tourna tube. My friend bought the Franklin tube and hated it. It’s harder to pick up balls and uncomfortable on your hands. It holds fewer balls. It feels less durable and like it could crack if dropped. He ended up regretting the purchase and bought a Tourna tube afterward. Buy cheap, buy twice.

My tennis coach told me to buy this brand and I am so glad I followed his recommendation. Works great, grabs and keeps the balls, and looks clean. Love it.

So far I am really liking this tube. It seems a bit pricey for what it is made of. The plastic seems a bit thin but so far it is holding up and working great. Beats bending over to pick up balls!

Best ball tube for picking up Pickleball’s. Much better then the Franklin brand! Highly recommended

This works just like expected. It picks up about 17 balls flawlessly. You can use this easily to get balls in a corner, next to a wall, on grass, etc. Empty it out into your machine or into any container without an issue. No wires to break off like my previous hopper. Does not pick as many balls or do it as quickly as you can with a roller but it empties much faster, is lighter and can get to some balls easier. Also much cheaper than the roller and there is nothing to break. No assembly required and this is a big plus for those of us that are mechanically challenged (me). After reloading the machine several times-NO BACKACHE.
