Clans Of Scotland Pure New Wool Scottish Tartan Scarf

Purchased one for my mom back in November, according to her family name, and was amazed at how fast it arrived, how soft the fabric was, and the exceptional quality of the fabric. My mom is a teacher and the scarf has survived countless crosswalk duties, playground duties, and even a field trip in rain, snow, and very cold temperatures. It is beautiful enough she can dress it up or down and keeps her warm. She loved the scarf so much and raved about it that I purchased one myself. It is now my favorite scarf. I can't wait to use it when the weather turns colder.

This scarf is accurate to my clan's tartan and beautifully made. I have ordered two. One was a gift and they were thrilled! I am omitting one star due to the length. I am 5'4 and the scarf hits to my waist draped over my neck. While it is decently wide, it is NOT long enough to double wrap and I would call it women's length and unsuitable for men.

The colors are clear, pure, and beautiful, and the lambswool is so very soft. The Oliphant plaid is true to the registry, and my son loves it. I was very surprised because almost within two hours of ordering the scarf, it was on a plane headed to the US from Glasgow, Scotland: The scarf arrived within two days of ordering!

Update! Yes, the delivery is a total headache, though thats more fedex related as a complaint. Just be aware delivery my try your patience.That said, this is the BEST scarf i have ever bought. My moffat tartan isnt a popular favorite, so nice to find this lovely scarf in my family pattern. Soft, not scratcby at all, warm, beautiful. Will likely buy more this IS the product your are looking for if you want accurate tartan pattern and quality.

Delivery was ahead of time stated which was great because it made in time for the Tartan Week parade in NYC! Lucas' represented!It is just the softest lambs wool, I was afraid it may irritate me as other woools tend to but it did not. Kept me nice and warm as well.

It is very nice but not at all what I had expected. It is rather fuzzy and the colors are much darker than the photo here. The yellow is very dim, the green is almost unnoticeable and even close-up the colors are not distinguishable.The pattern, although accurate, is not crisp and I will probably return it. Also, 55" is more like a mens scarf. I would have gotten the 66"x10" cashmere but they didn't have the proper Clan.

I bought this for my husband, who was a descendent of the Gordon clan. When in Scottland in 2011, he ordered and paid for a scarf as a souvenier. He never received it after coming home. He loved this scarf. The colors are beautiful and it is a very nice soft wool. We live in a warm climate so he hasn't used it, but he likes everything he knows about it to date.

I purchased this for my mother, unfortunately she has Dementia and I wanted to bring back a memory, as her second name happens to be "Grant" and her mother (my grandmother) when she was alive used to talk about the "Clan" it seemed like the right thing to do - it worked its magic :)Mum remembered past History, and we had a long chat about her Mothers side of the family and Clan History - I had printed some out for her.Well made, quick delivery and not only does it keep Mum Warm, but she can use it as a talking point - thanksyou.

Excellent Quality very comfortable to wear.I am wearing it now inside my home as its that cold here.Its not bulky you can wear inside a jacket or coat.These are great gifts as they have the history of the Scotish Clans on the back of the carded packing.60" or 152 cms long not counting the fringe good length for me at 5.6" tallMade from 100% Lambs wool. I would be so pleased to know that it wasn't made in China as I see no made in................... anywhere on the scarf or the packing.

Absolutely love these scarves. Soft quality wool, beautiful vibrant colours, great length and so warm. A smart useful accessory for any outfit. A classic look that will never go out of style. I bought Buchanan which has gorgeous dark green, warm yellow and bright red and MacQueen which is a rich vibrant red. What a great price, I may purchase more for xmas presents.

This time the company sent the wrong color. I selected the "dress" version and received the simple grey. I must admit, I liked it so much anyway, that I kept it. To be fair their oops matched my winter clothing better. And I ordered three more scarves for gifts as well, including another for myself in the original style I had wanted. Speedy delivery and it was my happy choice to keep the mistake.

I bought this as a gift for my father-in-law who has Cornish routes. I wasn't sure if he would like it, but it turned out that he absolutely loved it and wore it all through winter! An unusual and thoughtful gift which recognises and celebrates someone's heritage. Well made.

Gift for my dad, he loves it! Beautiful quality and the colours are very nice. It's warm and cosy and has a bit of history on the back of the packaging about the actual tartan clan which is a nice touch.

Excellent product definitely recommend in fact have since ordered one for us and another for my friends in the USA which the store is mailing direct for me. Another thing I didn't realise is that by getting the store to mail abroad they do not add VAT and the store are very happy to do this xx

This was a perfect Christmas gift for myself! Absolutely love it and love that they put a bit of the Chisholm background with it as well! My father is a Chisholm, so this was a perfect treat! It’s nice and warm and the colours are so beautiful!

Beautifully made and spot on for the Tartan. This scarf is unfortunately about two feet short of how long it should be though and your limited on how you can tie it.

Great product, price would make a Scottish Highlands man smile, cool colours, well pleased.
