The New York Times Easy Crossword Puzzle Omnibus Volume 10: 200 Solvable Puzzles from the Pages of The New York Times

I love The New York Times puzzle books. My issue is that the book came with black finger print smears from someone, I’m assuming from the Amazon warehouse. Annoying but the book is still usable. I’m tearing out the pages with the unsightly fingerprints. Rather unpleasant to see someone’s dirty finger marks.High marks for The New York Times. Low marks for product fulfillment.

I like that I could do most of the first one in book...i haven't done any in years ..thought I would give them a try...maybe an easier one still..

True to advertising; mostly easy but very odd clues IMO on a number of puzzles. Last NYT omnibus I had seemed to have less obscure references.

Nice crossword puzzle book with many, many puzzles. Purchased several of these New York Times books from different years - they have printed a lot of them. Fun and challenging and I will be going for quite a while. I sometimes do as much as I can and then leave the puzzle and go back and finish at a later date. I like to do as much as I can without research.

I’ve bought a different volume of omnibus NYT Crossword Book so I knew what to expect. 200 crosswords, all about the same level of difficulty. Much better price than at Barnes & Nobles.

Would prefer spiral binding....hard for arthritic hands to manipulate. Puzzles vary from Monday to Wednesday in difficulty. For someone that enjoys vocabulary and logic stimulation.

We absolutely love these books. I buy two- one for myself and one for my husband, and we compete. Large, clear print.

The only previous volumes in this series I had were #'s 1 & 2 which came out long ago so I was very surprised and not a little annoyed to run into puzzles in this edition that were previously in either of those 2 much older collections of puzzles. An isolated one or two would not merit comment but I have encountered at least 15 of them and I'm only half way through this edition(vol 10). With as many puzzles that have been published in the Times I find it inexcusable and lazy that there are duplications in here from that long ago! The editor should be more attentive and careful. This just really irks me so much that I am giving it 2 stars just because of this. The puzzles that are not repeated are very good and live up to the standard of a good and challenging crossword and merit at least 4 stars but the repetition of puzzles from prior volumes really takes away from the whole pkg and certainly renders the book an over-priced rip-off. I am NOT happy!!!!!!!!!!
