Use on my 3 quart instant pot for pressure steam release. Didn’t have problem with natural release but quick steam release I could not redirect but with this diverter I can . Took 2 tries but works great now. Would buy again

Hard to beat for less than $5 Using on a Ninja Foodi This fits snuggly and can go on 1 of 2 ways. Either in line or opposite of the steam release handle. It keeps the steam from going right into the bottom of my cupboards. I think it would be better if it could redirect the steam 90° away from the handle to protect your hands. I think I saw one with this feature, but for more than double the price. With all that considered, it's still good and does what I want it to do. Easy to install/remove for cleaning. 4/5 stars. Would probably buy again.

I love the building I live in. With that said, the walls are finished in a specific way. So, if I am doing anything from frying food to boiling water I try and direct any spatter or steam away from the walls. Now I've gone as far as to be cheesy and cover the back wall with foil this diverter goes the extra mile in ensuring the steam stays away and is directed away from the walls. That makes it useful. Nevertheless, BEWARE! If you put it on incorrectly it will place a slight pressure on the release value and not allow all the steam required to build up pressure. Now, don't just try and remove the lid if this happens. You'll have to do a slow-release. But, if you put it on the right way...which is to say gently - then it shouldn't interfere with the function of the valve. Just letting folks be aware of what can happen. You'll know this is happening because usually Instant Pots sputter and then the valve seals and the cooking happens. If you've put the steam diverter on incorrectly it will not stop sputtering. If this happens don't panic. Just turn off the machine. Do a slow release. DO NOT TOUCH the diverter. After the pressure has been released and you can safely open the lid just readjust the diverter gently...then cook as the recipe originally indicated.

Steam diverter for Instant Pot, works great. Fits over the valve easily, directs steam away from my cabinets, etc. Cleans easily.

It doesn't fit a 6qt instapot. We got no instructions on it and when we looked online to find out how to install it. We tried to follow the directions and it will not fit on the 6 qt because the valve will not sit right with that on. I am requesting my money back.

I love this little thing! I don’t have much room on my kitchen counter and the Instant Pot’s steam comes out very close to my cabinet doors. I have worried that the steam will damage my doors so bought this tube. It works great and is so easy to use!

I was very disappointed about the advertising of this article it was definitely false advertising it does not fit any instant pot the hole is to small to fit over the steam release The good thing is they refunded my money
