These HID replacement bulbs have made such a difference for me as I was initially not sure why my lights were not working since both my low and high beams on both sides quit working all at the same time. So I figured there was no way it could be the bulbs because what are the chances that not one, not two, but FOUR bulbs all burned out at the same time? So I did some research and I bought a single headlight replacement ballast thinking that it needed it, nope it wasn't that. Also did things like checked fuses and relays, basically did the whole 9 yards when it comes to trying to get the issue resolved because I had been driving around with only fog lights being used in place of regular headlights since fog lights were the only set that still worked. THEN I found out that my low beams and my high beams used the same bulb on each side, they just tilt to a different angle to light the way when switching from low beams to high beams and vice versa. So then I thought that the bulbs most likely did just burn out at the same time afterall, since it was only 2 bulbs that needed to fail simultaneously rather than 4 like I initially thought. So I went online, ordered these ones since they said they would fit my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit, and they were also going to be delivered same day as well which was a deal maker for me because I was ready and determined to have working headlights again! They came about 5 hours later, as promised, the packaging was great as it was appealing to look at and it also kept the lights held tightly snug between the foam in the box to prevent shaking around and possible damage to the bulbs. The price on this set was also unbelievably affordable compared to OEM and other familiar names, and most importantly was that the price was literally a fraction of the cost of the auto store replacement hid bulbs, yes 29.99/a set of 2 sure does beat 139.99/1 bulb at the local auto store! 2011 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND SUMMIT — They fit perfectly in my vehicle, however I think that hid bulbs are typically rather difficult to replace in most vehicles compared to standard bulbs just due to the precise placement and to prevent them from being an easy target of theft since they are quite expensive, and because of how spendy they are I'd actually prefer some level of difficulty accessing the bulb's location in the vehicle. I got the 6000k and they are very bright, much brighter than my previous set which it is unknown if they were the stock set. I often times get brights flashed at me from vehicles passing me going the opposite way as they assume that I have my high beams on, when I only have my low beams on so that should emphasize how bright they really are! The 2 year warranty is just a great bonus because I'd purchase these bulbs again if they were to burn out prematurely especially since the purchase of 2 sets still doesn't even add up to the amount I might've spent for just 1 had I purchased them at an auto store or if I had opted for a more well-known brand. Still undecided? Well.... THE SHORT ANSWER is that these HIDs are most definitely worth it so if you're still up in the air, trying to decide whether or not to opt for purchasing HID replacements from DMEX, you won't be disappointed at all if you do! They don't get more affordable than this for a quality product and also the 2 year warranty pretty much guarantees that quality if you still have any doubts! They were a perfect fit and a direct replacement for my 2007 escalade. Can't beat this for the price. They color match my aftermarket LED running lights great. No more amber color. They are closer to blue, but very light, not a deep blue . The picture is accurate. They are much brighter than the originals and cast farther. Definitely happy with my choice. One of the bulbs came not working, So I had made the mistake of replacing my ballast. Turns out one of the bulbs was bad. I tested this by plugging in an old bulb that I knew worked into both ballasts. The seller actually reached out to me before I had time to request a replacement, And offered to send me out a new one right away. I have received the new replacement a few days later. I'm thrilled with the customer service and the warranty, and will definitely continue being a customer. Thank you DMEX!

My Review is like the others. I haven't needed to change my head light in my car since I got it. When one went out and the other was dim I simply figured I'd pull them out, run to Autozone and get new ones....... I have never had a car with these type of bulbs before. Autozone wanted $104.00 a bulb and I quickly walked out the door. For a pack of two these were $160.00 less?? Seemed odd to me but I ordered them any way. Delivered the next day, they fit no problem and seem much brighter then the ones that were in it. I don't know the long term but even of they last 2 years I still can buy almost 3 more boxes of 2 for what Autozone wanted for 1 bulb. If the back of your bulb says D1S these will fit. (atleast they did in mine) and will save you a ton of $$$.

Easy installation and brilliant blue color. Definitely brighter than stock. When using in dark rural roads you will get flashed as people with older cars think they are on high beam. When on urban highways and roads no issues. Lasted over a year at this point no issues.

I did a full headlight restoration on my 2007 Cadillac DTS and switched out the factory bulbs for these. The drivers side bulb had burned out so it was needed. My wife is the primary driver of this car and she has had LASIK’s surgery on her eyes and cataract removal several times. So she was complaining about not being able to see well at night even before the bulb burned out. The factory bulbs were 2900 lumen 4K and the lenses were pretty cloudy. So going to these 3700 lumen 6k bulbs with a lens restore and polish with a clear coat finish was a nice upgrade. I can really see a difference over the stock bulbs. We got 18 years and 160,000 miles out of the stock bulbs. Hopefully I don’t have to update this review with bad news of one or more of them failing. It would sure be nice if they outlast the car at this point. I’m completely satisfied at this point with everything about these bulbs. Fast shipping. No modifications needed. They were a direct fit replacement. At this point I’m very happy and highly recommend these to anyone who needs new bulbs or just wants a brighter upgrade.

Good not so bright

About a week ago I purchased new 35watt 85volt D1S bulbs from DMEX here on Amazon and installed them into my car. After installation they were working fine, tested on/off a few times in my driveway. The next morning before I left my driveway I noticed the driver side headlight was not working. That night I took the d1s bulb from the driver side and installed it in the passenger side (which light up) and came to the conclusion the ballast for the driver side assembly must have gone bad. Maybe a coincidence or just old age I’m not sure. So I ordered the a new ballast as a placement. 2 days later I notice that now my passenger side isn’t working, now I know this isn’t just a coincidence of age or normal wear/tear. So after ordering a second ballast from Gen xenon here on Amazon(great product and customer service) I now have working headlights again but with old stock D1S bulbs. I reached out to gen xenon and explained my issues and they told me that there are tons of cheaply made bulbs like these DMEX’s that most certainly cause these types of problems. I explained these issues to DMEX’s customer service and they won’t take ownership of the damages caused. This caused me well over $100 in repair parts, down time on my car, and a lot of frustration. I DO NOT recommend this product or this company for anything they sell.
