Petface (Seriously Strong by Petface) Dog Toy Rubber Extreme Tugger Chew Toy

Tough but heavy
This is quite big and durable, but too big for my Westie-cross to play with - he just wasn't interested as it was too big for his mouth. It smells really rubbery when you first receive, so needs washing and leaving out a few days to kill the chemical smell. Overall good item and value for money, just not to my pup's size or taste.

delectable jointing in centre
Reasonable price. Our Jack Russel has been persistently chewing the plastic jointing in the centre of the tugger since he received it. For a small dog, like many others of this breed we think he as has a hidden second row of teeth that help him destroy practically all of his ' indestructable' toys. We've thrown out Kong balls/ rugby balls / bones that have been chewed at until they've been bald and split wide open. I did resort to buying him a large antler. Brilliant , he loved it so much he started to take it up the stars with him on a night, fine until he started to throw it about , bouncing off bedroom/ bathroom/ cupboard door during the night - it's been confiscated for a while . someone needs to come up with a - nice bounceable ball, one that is so strong it barely leaves a mark, yet does no damage to furniture etc. We all need help. our little beast has had a taste of landing skirting board and we don't want him to think he can get away with it. Unfortunately we can't coat it with anything because we have yet to come across something that he doesn't like the taste of, he'll eat anything and everything ( including my wicker stair basket) if he can get it or part of it in his mouth no matter the flavour, then he'll eat as much of it as he can get away with . So, we're hunting again for the perfect ' indestructable' toy for Cracker .

Not so strong
Not a bad toy and kept the dog amused but she was determined to bite through the plastic section which she managed after much chewing! After that, she got through the rope quite easily and left strands all over the floor. Not a bad toy but too much mess once it's destroyed.

Bit flimsy
I not this for my puppy but he is a large dog cane corso so he has ripped it.I have bought ones in the pound shop that last longer.

So far, so good. My doberman approves! (SUPERVISE YOUR PET)
The media could not be loaded. Â So far this seems like a great tug toy, especially for the price, so I've actually ordered another just in caseMy doberman loves thrashing things around & this may be her favourite to do it with. It has her approval!People are leaving negative reviews of this saying that their pet has destroyed the toy within no time.Yeah, this will probably happen if you don't keep an eye on them. I wouldn't leave my dog alone with this, or any toy that could be destroyed. It does have a warning on the back of the label. Please be responsible!

didn't even last the week.
my younger dog managed to chew all the plastic part in the middle, during the 5 minutes he was left unattended with this toy. then the rope came unstuck from being two loops and he ate a lot of the string. he's fine, but seriously? man domesticated dogs SO long ago, how do we still make such shoddy dog toys?!that said, with a less chaotic-evil aligned dog, I'm sure it would last a little longer.
