I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course and looking for supplemental texts to help students. This does a nice job explaining certain disease processes including epidemiology, pathophysiology, patient presentations, and management. It does not go into extreme depth, but does offer the student a nice solid understanding of the disease. The problem is there are so few diseases discussed in this text. For example, the only disease discussed in the endocrine system is type 2 diabetes! This could have been a great text, but as is it only serves as a minor supplement to other more thorough texts available. Bottom line, I like the spoonful of material I got, but now I want the whole meal!

The authors do a good job of breaking down the patho without overdoing it. I used this book as compliment with my nursing medsurg books. My only complaint is that there are only a 27 diseases processes in this book.

This text is geared toward the needs of a graduate student in Pathophysiology, and may not be useful for undergraduate students. Somewhat laborious sections regarding minutiae - the case study text ('Clinical Applications') helps with a need to review case studies.

This book weighs so much you cannot really read it. The content if very dense and through. The internet connection is fun and useful for learning/reviewing information. The internet has great links for further information and resources.

This is a very nice textbook I like the way it is organized and I like the flow of the content.

I needed this book for the Pathophysiology class for my ultrasound program. I got it much cheaper here than at the school's bookstore (which I am boycotting for dismal customer service). I had terrific service here though; the book arrived on time and in pristine condition. Thank you!

Gives Practitioners to be plethora of different scenarios so that we are able to learn how to think on our toes. Good book needed for my class
