Good Product
It works as described. The only thing I had to do was take my 35 mm drill bit and run it through the jig. It fit really tight. I used the jig on a bathroom vanity to install the hinges. It was very easy to use.

Does not fit my 35mm bit, minor issues, but overall, a very useful jig
The jig seems fine, but my 35mm bit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P4LLH2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) does NOT fit. I may just end up drilling out the hole to be a little larger so I can use my bit. It "fits" partly when I feed the bit in backwards (shank first), but when I try to feed it in the right direction (teeth first), it definitely doesn't fit. I'm disappointed, although it's hard to know if I should "blame" my bit or this jig. I'm leaning toward blaming this jig, as I'm guessing that this jig is actually built to 1 3/8" specs with a very tight fit, which would cause a 35mm bit to not fit.The instructions on the packaging for this jig do mention 1 3/8", and I have a 35mm bit. I bought a 35mm bit because the Amazon description states, "35mm forstner bit sold separately." Maybe the takeaway is that this is a good jig, but if you buy it, make sure you have a 1 3/8" bit, and not a 35mm one.UPDATE 7/24/15I've finally been able to use the jig, and was able to drill out the jig a bit with my slightly "oversized" bit. I put the shank of the bit through the jig, attached it to my drill, and drilled *out* of the jig. This opened up the hole enough that I can put the bit through the correct direction. The jig works well; *much* better than trying to do all of this by hand, and *much* cheaper than getting a drill press just for this. Even with a drill press, I love how this jig helps position everything. One unanticipated disappointment was that if you clamp down the jig too hard on soft wood, the little raised "I" and "O" will be pressed into your wood. These marks should really be recessed instead of raised.Another small issue is that the plastic on the edges seems to have small raised areas where the material was injected into the form. This isn't a huge deal, except for the fact that I use the edges to align the jig flush with the edge of my workpiece. having a slight raised area makes this a little bit more difficult/unreliable.I might just do a quick "sanding" on the I/O marks and the edges to make everything flush.OVERALLAll things told, this is a great little jig, and it should work wonderfully for your needs. But, it does have a few minor (and easily fixed) flaws that could be improved upon, hence the 4-star rating.

does the job
I had never used European hinges before, so i didn't know what I was doing or what to expect. but this item provides a nice template and takes out the guess work. I've used it about 10 times and works like a charm. Just put it on the wood and drill away; get the right hole everytime. Be aware that the router bit, shown in the photo, doesn't come with this item, in case you didn't know.

Works well as a jig
Takes the guess work and measuring out of installing Euro hinges. I've used this jig on 12 cabinet doors so far and it works great. In fact, the default setting for the location of the hole worked just fine with my Euro hinges. One thing to note: The jig is made of hard plastic and as I drill the hole with a forster bit it starts to wear away at the inside hole of the jig. Not a big deal, but eventually the jig may not be so perfectly round. Well worth the price as it is a timesaver.

Boring Jig for 35 mm concealed euro style hinge
The jig does the job. I would buy again. For a first time user the instructions were alright, but some of the steps could be explained better. If you have never installing an euro style concealed hinge you will make mistakes to start with.Use scrap material the same thickness of your doors to test drill in.Mount the hinge in the test board then mount on the cabinet frame.Keep test drilling until you get a hinge hole setback placement that will work for your cabinet.Sometimes the published setback distance for the hinge hole from the door edge is not correct.Take your time to get everything right then drill the doors.

Junk after first use.
We purchased this to install 4 hinges, we got 1 done. Don't recommend at all. The jig gets bored out with the first use (as it is plastic), after that it is unreliable. And by unreliable, I mean afer the first use, the holes are no longer the proper/same size.

Mostly Useless
What could have been a useful jig just hasn't been well thought out and ends up being basically useless. I wanted this for mounting 38N Blum hinges but there are several issues.1. The picture shown is upside down, it goes the other way up and it's the edge of the screws that hold the edge of the door, not the nice big plastic piece.2. Even with the screws all the way in there is still too much gap meaning the hole is too far in. All of my doors have been drilled with the hole closer to the edge so this can't be adjusted to match them.3. The small holes shown aren't drill holes for the mounting screws, you have to drill those yourself. They helpfully put little guide dots for half a dozen hinges, none of which match the industry standard Blum 38N Euro Hinges, so you now have a series of unhelpful bumps to push your guide point off center.4. Where you drill the mounting holes is much thinner underneath so doesn't go all the way down to the door, so if you use a vix bit it can still angle and create a mis-aligned hole.5. It really needs a built in locking clamp.

Great for the price
Once I understood the directions, I was able to lay out and drill my hinges quickly. Great little tool for the price compared to other jigs on the market. I only needed It for 35 doors I was putting together and did not want to give a arm and a leg for a jig. It gets the job done!
