First i got them turned the on and they were nice but after one or two day I noticed that one of the 4 four i had on was blinking really bad and it was annoying specially if is on in a dark area. Although the size, shape, and flame on top, look great, I can’t stand the way they all have a “flash” of a flicker cycle. In other words they “blink” every several seconds which makes it look unreal. All my other candles of this nature don’t do that and they resemble a real flicker of a candle by dimming slightly while the flame on top flickers. These, on the other hand, are starting to annoy me because they flash on and off quickly. And when you have a grouping altogether, it is a lot of blinking on the table or mantle and it quickly becomes extremely annoying. I also wish they would come with a remote control, which is a pet peeve to not be able to turn them on/off all at once. But truly, what’s worse is the blinking effect on and off which is a real deal breaker. Not happy with its look. Kind of wish I could return them.

Really like these votive candles, which are a creamy amber color, made of plastic but have a waxy look. The wick is flickering and moving, resulting in a most realistic "flame". Nice that they come with batteries which are supposed to last 50 hours. There is no remote control with these and no timer. The approximately 2 inch high'candles' fit nicely into votive holders. Perfect to make a centerpiece by grouping together, or use with dinner place settings. Very happy with this purchase

I use these instead of real candles every Friday at sundown for the coming Sabbath. They are very realistic and I don't have to worry about relighting votive candles that don't melt properly, or cleaning the little votive glasses from the cheaply made real candles that leave a film on the glass as they burn. I used to be able to get good quality real candles but can't find any. These are a great alternative.

Love the size. Hate that the LED lights inside the candles blink on and off. The life-like flicker flame is great but no way to stop the blinky light. When you're trying to create a mood, this is really annoying and makes the votives noticeably fake. They flicker AND they blink ---every single one of them.

Out of the 12 candles in the box one didn't work. They look nice but they start blinking and it's very annoying. I changed the batteries thinking they were just weak and within a day they started blinking again.Other reviewers have noted this problem. So take heed.I do not recommend these.

I love these candles. They are realistic without being dangerous. I have looked for voltives for a while, and could only find tealights. So affordable as well. If you like this kind of candle, you will not find a better bargain. It’s 6 days later and the candles have started to blink (off/on). Very irritating. I do not recommend at all.

Votives are easy to use ... but out of the 12 in the box four (4) were defective. The 'flame' was flashing too, too fast and was a real distraction.But then ... they came from China, whose economy is booming.
