OTC Ankle Brace, Stirrup Style, Airform Pads

FINALLY an ankle brace that doesn’t cramp the top of your foot/instep. Broken ankle required extra support for a bit and this did the trick. Must have ordered 5 different styles and due to some nerve damage my foot was very sensitive to pressure on the top. This worked very well

I have been using air cast type braces for years due to a chronic ankle issue. I used to buy the original one but they got very expensive so I saw the OTC brand. It does almost as good as job as the AirCast and the pony size is just right for me. The main issue I have with it is the heel part. It i plastic versus material and has a tendency to bend up and is not as comfortable. Also cannot inflate or deflate the air cushions. That may be an issue for some people. But for the money,it does the job.

This was the third air stirrup product I obtained to treat a recent avulsion fracture. The one my doctor sent me home with was inflatable, but the one-way valves didn't work (or I damaged them -- it came without instructions). I then purchases a Bellhorn-branded prefilled gel and air model at a medical supply, but it was very poorly made with the velcro straps splitting and glue oozing everywhere and also uncomfortably heavy.THIS item is perfect! It fits well, is comfortable to wear, seems well made and came with clear instructions! It also cost less than many of these items!

Takes a little work to get it positioned properly, but when it's set up right it effectively immobilizes the ankle. That said, it's quite uncomfortable and actually hurts almost as much as the injury itself.

Fairly comfortable needed something to stabslize my ankle while my orthogic was being repaired i tried a couple different things this ultimately helped the most would have likedan additional strap to use for around tbe ankle in addition to the calf strap. Works in a pinch

I've had stirrup braces before and while they aren't my favorite, they've done the job. This one, not so much. The edges are very tapered and bit into my feet so I had to wear my heaviest winter socks to avoid blisters. The straps were too high and my ankle felt vulnerable unless I also had a sneaker. Even then, the sneaker didn't lace well, and it pressed the sharp edges even harder into the sides of my foot.

It was ok but it did not fit my foot properly
