I got the 1.1 stub nib. Nice fine sharp nib for good calligraphy- style writing without having to write big.It writes nicely. Very fun to write with.Plastic is lightweight.The converter is pretty small and a little difficult to use, but managible.It's a tad pricy in my opinion for a lightweight plastic pen, but the nib is real good, so I guess it's worth the price.Fun pen to write with. I recommend.

The balance is great, and it's made of a lightweight acrylic so you can write comfortably for long periods of time. It definitely runs dry, and the italic-type nib produces noticeable feedback compared to other fountain pens, but not in a scratchy way. It's my first time using an italic nib though, so maybe this is typical.The cap is a push cap with a rubber gasket that seals the capped area nicely. I found it interesting that you can't feel the rubber when taking the cap off.It came securely-packaged and intact and included a converter an one black cartridge. I love Pilot pens!! Five-stars for the seller as well 😊

tiny light plastic pen

It's light weight, I carry it all the time on my mini purse. So far I don't have problem with the fountain pen. It writes smooth like a butter.

I’ve been considering getting a Pilot Prera with the calligraphy nib, and finally did; I just wish that I had gotten it sooner! I haven’t been writing a lot lately, but for the price, this is a very nice pen, and I love the size of the stub nib. Great value!

I've had this pen now for about a week, I use it constantly, it writes beautifully, its smooth, lightweight, and compact for carrying around in a pocket. I only wish the pen took international standard cartridges as I have tons of those. But not a big deal, the converter that comes with it works perfect.

This fountain pen (Fine (?) calligraphy nib) is about 1cm in diameter, 12cm long when capped slightly smaller than Pelikan 200 series), and is filled by converter or cartridge. The calligraphy nibs are excellent, no burrs on edges, with good ink flow. Frankly, the quality of this pen is exceptional for the price point. After I bought the first one and tested it, I decided to have one of these pens for each ink color I use. This one won't disappoint in any respect.

Great fountain pen. Makes writing a more pleasant experience. I use a bright pink ink, very saturated. Italic nib very nice, makes me look better than I am. Slightly shorter than my other fountain pens, but I have small hands so no problem.

味のある字が書けるとの評判を聞いてカリグラフィー用を購入。確かに英語を書く時に気分も字も多少変わり使っていて楽しめます。日本語を書くと個人的には下手な字に見えて好きではありません。透明の軸とキャップを閉める時のカチっという感覚が好きです。

I Love these pens this is my 2nd one and will not choose a different brand again

lovely (but petite) pen and writes beautifully (on the thin side). 4 stars because of the two i bought,the lid of one has cracked. Not sure if it was my fault or not but the other seems fine yet are kept together almos all of the time... Hey hoI said it was an excellent first choice. However the crown for best cheap fountain pen still resides with the Lamy Safari :)

面白い書き味です。パラレルペンや本物のカリグラフィーペンに比べるとすこし見劣りしますが、たまに変わった字を書きたい時等に良いと思います。PRERAシリーズは少し短いのが難点。手の大きい人などは少し握りづらいかもしれません。あと、落下させてしまったり振ったりすると結構インクが漏れますが、私はあまり持ち運びせず家使いなので満足。

透明軸が好きで購入しました。先端のカラーが綺麗だったこと、カリグラフィータイプのペン先だったことも後押ししましたね。手に取ると短めですが、後ろにキャップを差せば私の手には程々の長さになるので書きやすいです。千円程度のプチプラよりも重みがあるので書きやすいです。ペン先の幅が小さめなので、日本語を書く際に味のある書き文字になるのが気に入っています。カリグラフィー用として使うより、日常使いしつつやろうと思えばカリグラフィーの雰囲気も味わえる。位のイメージです。
