Very efficient AV
Bought this to install on a customer's laptop that was in for virus removal. Checked his whole harddisc in my PC (i.e. offline) with Kaspersky and nothing found -- there was no virus but he had encountered one of those scams that say you are infected, and he sensibly came to me before taking any action. Got a licence through Amazon via email so could install immediately (Bitdefender was only available with a code sent via the post, which would have held me up). Installation and registration were simple, and after a reboot I carried on working on it. Some time afterwards Kaspersky warned of a trojan, which it quarantined. Not sure why it didn't show up in the first scan, but reassuring to know that it is picking up possible infections in real time. Kaspersky and Bitdefender regularly come joint top in PcPro Mag reviews and I use Kaspersky on my own PC, which has loads thrown at it. Never had an issue. Purchase of Internet Security includes a browser add-in that blocks dodgy websites, and provides a virtual keyboard for use when entering information in forms, which should defeat keyloggers. I find it inconvenient, but you can turn it off for all but sensitive sites like banking -- the degree of control it gives you is great. Also includes a VPN with limited data (you don't need that for a PC you only use at home) and the option of installing a password manager, though I recommend using a stand-alone password manager so you don't get locked in and can't change antivirus vendors without the inconvenience of transferring all your passwords to a different program. At £15 for one year, one device, is good value. When renewal time comes round, shop around again, as new purchases are usually cheaper than renewing!

2 years of great protection
Purchased this in 2023 to cover the devices across my family e.g. for smartphones, laptops and tablets for 2 years. I am now in year two of the subscription. I was a bit dubious of using a Russian company, given all the noise in the press. But as far as I can see Kaspersky is totally independent of the Kremlin's regime, so I have continued to trust Kaspersky with my IT security. So far so good. I have another 200 plus days of active subscription to go. Subscription arrived via email. Instructions were easy to follow. My only criticism was that Kaspersky doesn't work on older Android devices, so my advise is to check you have an up-to-date and compatible android version on your device before ordering.

Good product, some drawbacks
Used Kaspersky before and like it. Drawbacks - if you install this over an existing Kaspersky it confirms that it will ‘kick in’ on expiry of existing product. It does. BUT the big checking system in the sky doesn’t seem to know it is queued up and you get endless warnings that ‘Kaspersky security has expired’ - even though it hasn’t. Eventually, it all catches up with itself. The product works well but interferes massively with PC (Win 7) startup speed while it updates/scans who knows what. It also takes an age to bring up security protected windows under Firefox - though the protection it offers seems good to me.

Way cheaper than renewing direct
Every year I buy from Amazon ..... you used to have to remove the old version from your hard disc and install the new version. Now you just go to the licence section of the software and input the code. While you may want a product from Kaspersky with more functions - this has protected my computer and unlike some others doesn't slow it down in normal use (and it's old!). So another year for half what I was quoted to renew direct.

Easy protection
I've been using Kaspersky for years now and never had any issues whatsoever. Once you have the first version installed, it's really easy to update when the subscription is up. I bought this as my 2018 yearly protection came to an end. I downloaded it from Amazon, got my new product key and that was it. I also got it half-price which was amazing! Kaspersky does all the work in the background although it can be a bit annoying sometimes prompting you to update on a daily basis, but at least then you know they are constantly updating your protection. I would find it hard to move onto a different internet protection now. If this is your first purchase of Kaspersky it might take a bit of getting used to at the start as you can manually choose the protection for various files and programmes if you want and you might have to adjust some of that if there is any conflict with other applications. But once you figure that out, it just sits quietly in the background and you don't have to do anything as it will automatically quarantine and disinfect when you run scans. As mentioned, once I got over the first couple of hurdles with it as a brand new application, it updates easily every year and no issues whatsoever.

Works on latest MacOS Big Sur. - SEE UPDATE
Unlike McAfee, this works on my Mac with the latest operating system(Big Sur). Unfortunately, you go out of your way to buy a fast computer, and along comes your anti-virus suite which slows it all back down again. But at least I’m protected from all those bad guys out there and Kaspersky is no worse than the others. Bought on Amazon, got the download reference by email immediately, and a few minutes later, after downloading, I was fully protected. UPDATED 7 Jan 2021 ================ I've had this now for a month and now feel I can more accurately review it. You, the reader, should note that I changed my star rating from 4 to 5 and this is why: 1. I've notice that my Mac is faster than with my older AV software (which was a big named brand) 2. (see my photos) I love being advised, when entering any financial organisation's web site if it's safe to do so and with the knowledge that Kaspersky has recognised it as a financial institution and is protecting me accordingly. 3. You cans above how good the protection has been, and this is on a machine that is used about 3 times a week (on line) for about 2-4 hours each time. For the number of hours of use, I've received a lot of protection. I feel that I can now confidently say that I can highly recommend this software

Simple to activate
I have used Kaspersky Internet Security for many years and for the last few, Kaspersky Plus has provided me with all the protection needed on my PC. Purchasing my next two years subscription via Amazon has saved me a lot of money compared to the standard renewal fee that would have been. At this time, I still had 30 days remaining from my existing subscription, so having entered the activation code into my ‘My Kaspersky’ account, it will automatically become active when required. Don’t forget to cancel any existing subscription if you have ‘auto-renewal’ set. You won’t lose the remainder of days left on that subscription.

Very disappointed with this latest version.
I have used Kaspersky for the last 10 years and have always found it to be trustworthy, excellent, and 100% worthwhile. This latest version/iteration is severely disappointing. It's way too invasive and takes up far too much system resources whilst failing to provide user-friendly utility. I have never encountered so many problems with this product until now. Most importantly the safe money feature does not work reliably, refusing to run the protected browser for no reason other than getting as message that the *process has been stopped* with no explanation as to why or how to fix the problem. For the first time ever I am wondering why I have wasted my money on this and now have serious doubts about it's usefulness.
