This is the book I’ve been looking for to help me get to grips with basket weaving. It has clear photographs of the steps to take, along with clear and considered instructions. Highly recommended for the beginner or intermediate weaver

Full of really good ideas and well illustrated

Nice book that has a variety of projects suitable for teens to the elderly. Teaches the basic shapes and offers a variety of projects to try. Need to research where to get the weaving sticks etc though as it’s not overly explained but didn’t expect it to. If you want to have fun making various storage items this is the book for you! ( I can’t decide which to try first!) Also with the techniques offered it could be used to weave other things and adapt the offered projects to make while new ones- ie bird feeder- fairy house- bag into cat basket etc.

Bought this for our teenage granddaughter, she struggled with the instructions and so did I, think you need some previous knowledge to access the book - perhaps for the intermediate basket weaver?

This is a great book for beginners with a lovely variety of projects to try. The illustrations are so clear and very easy to follow. I personally would have liked to have seen a section included on what tools are required but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment!

The book is well written and illustrated to show steps. I bought one for my nieces to follow up on what I had shown them. Great for a beginner or someone who wants to pick up basketry again. Some good designs also.

I am so excited to start this new craft! The book shows great pictures and instructions don’t look hard. I love how the book breaks down the different weaving techniques and tells you all supplies.

This book contains the basic techniques useful in basketweaving. Learn the techniques and their applications. All of the patterns I've tried so far have been modified. The author ignores the basic rules in her patters, to the frustration of beginners.
