LeylandGranocryl Smooth Masonry, Cream, 5L

Needed some masonry paint to cover a small area of unfinished rendering over our front porch. The can was a bit big for my needs but it seemed like good value and it's always handy to have some masonry paint around. I cant fault the paint, is was easy to apply and coverage/finish was excellent. I can't comment on the weatherproofing as I was applying the paint to a covered area of our porch. However it looks good and seems to have sealed the rendering very well. Cleaning up was easy too as the paint is water based.Some previous reviewers have reported problems with the item leaking during transit and arriving in a poor state. I think the seller has noted these issues and has tried to remedy them by wrapping the can in a strong shrink plastic. As you can see from my photo, this has worked OK and stopped the paint from leaking everywhere but the lid has still popped off in transit. Fortunately in my case the leakage was minimum and restricted to the inside of the plastic wrap. If the item had arrived safely I would have given it 5 stars!The seller should perhaps include some bubble-wrap in the packing and warnings on the box to handle with care and keep upright. The Amazon shipping/handling and shipping team should also take more care with such items...

The paint tub was broken when delivered so glad it had a plastic wrap on it, paint want on well and covered marks on wall, more creamier than I thought colour wise but still nice, hopefully I have enough to finish the job with the loss of paint from broken tub.
