Aircraft Mechanic's review of the Tekton 90T
Awesome ratchet. We'll thought out low profile design with plenty of teeth. Feels very durable and comfortable in your hand. Ergonomics are similar to snap on but in my opinion better and for less than half the price. Can't beat it.

Well Built Tools
Retired and don't turn wrenches as I once did. Nevertheless, I appreciate a well-made tool and feel that Tekton does it well. They are reasonably priced and feel good in the hand. Do I use other brands? Sure, but why pay more than you have to if there is something else out there of similar quality. Thanks! Hope this was helpful.

Best value for the price
Like many of you I was a little skeptical at a 20 dollar price point, but after reicieving this little rachet, im more than happy. As you can see from the picture this is a compliment to my old clunky Craftsman I have had for more than 20 years. The longer handle is a dream. The finish is top notch and cleans up nicely. To be honest, it is well made, but comes from Taiwan, which isn't a deal breaker since Tekton is US based. Racheting and arc are excellent and smooth as butter. I looked a just about every brand out there that had long handled 1/4 drives and this one won my heart and wallet. There's reviews out there on every tool you can imagine. If you want to spend 100 dollars on a rachet, have at it. Im not in production or a full time auto mechanic. Me personally I wont be attaching a pipe to it to torque the crap out of it either, I have a breaker bar for for those tight bolts and nuts. They say you get what you pay for,, thats not so true anymore. Theres always going to be good, better and best in everything we buy. Theres also loyalty to made in America. Companies that put American people to work. At least Tekton still makes tools in this country, albeit not this one, but is a USA based company. Is this one I will pass down to my kids? Who knows, but it could surprise us all.

My new go to tool brand
These things are awesome! I discovered them a couple of years ago and I haven't had an issue yet. Being notorious for breaking tools, I've not even been able to put a ding in these things. This ratchet is replacing a husky that replaced a Craftsman. Mostly not make in USA, but at least it's not China. I've got a couple of socket sets, individual wrenches, and some adapters and a torque wrench. These things work well and will take some abuse.

Bought 3/8" Quick Release - Excellent Wrench, Especially for the Cost
My mainstay go-to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" ratchets and SAE sockets are S-K, all bought over four decades ago when they weren't as expensive as now. I've also got a few Snap-On hand wrenches. In addition I've got three and four decades old Craftsman wrenches, and some of those a couple decades older that were my father's. I've got a range of tools from which to compare the Tekton.I've got other Tekton hand tools and this ratchet fits right in with their quality. It's not a professional grade Snap-On. You cannot misuse and abuse it as a sledge hammer (yes, I've seen folks use one as a hammer), or put a "cheater pipe" on its handle to increase torque (get a damn breaker bar). Ratchet wrenches have torque limits. A 250 pound male standing on the handle of a 3/8" drive is about thee times the absolute limit of what you could reasonably expect (I've also seen that done; get a 1/2" drive breaker bar). This is one of the best consumer grade on the market. Tekton is family owned in Michigan with nearly all their tools made to spec in Taiwan (NOT China) and quality has improved over the past 5-7 years. By comparison, the current Craftsman are Chinesium junk now (avoid like the plague). I've got decades old high grade Craftsman, some of which were my father's from a time when they were respected *and* Made in America at a high quality forge. Not any more. The Tekton is an excellent consumer grade ratchet wrench, about mid-tier, and much better than Walmart no-name Chinesium junk. Going better than this one gets into the much higher cost of the "lesser" name pro grade wrenches (e.g. Proto, Mac or S-K).Note that a quick release drive is inherently weaker and won't take as much torque because of the QR mechanism going down the middle of its square drive. If I were to buy another, it would be without the QR. Keep that in mind. A QR is a convenience, but the tradeoff is a weaker drive.

Worth every single penny, it's awesome.
I bought this because I thought I left my go to 1/2 inch in a truck at the junk yard. I found my old one after it arrived. Been giving it a thorough beating for about a week now.... I think I'm in love! Feels good in the hand, ratchets smoothly (silky smooth) and fits into tighter spots than my old one. I'm thinking of replacing all of my ratchets. Oh and not having a quick release isn't an issue it hold socket securly without the old fashioned "pry it off with a screwdriver" sticky tightness of the old school ones.

One of the better quality tools I can afford
Great value for money. Not Pro-Grade, but good for a shade tree mechanic that wants something durable and reliable. Smooth ratcheting operation, comfortable in the hand. A win!

Qualidade excepcional
