Fit great in my 2017 Sonata. Funny thing was the Hyundai dealership tried to tell me it was the wrong size aftermarket filter when they did a full point inspection when I took my car in for a recall. I know they were full of crap because I installed this one myself and it was the exact same size as the one it replaced lol. They wanted like $75 to replace it. Obviously I told them no

Well first off gimme a break with that product description. Kills germ and viruses!!! Nice way to scare ppl into buying it in these times. But anyway, It's washable so that's the main reason I got it. Tight fit in a 2015 Sonata with the 2.4 engine but I just put the tip of it in then slammed it in and I was able to close the cover with no issues.

I will update this review after I have driven 10k, 20k, and 30k miles.The filter is built to the same standard that KN air filters are built from. The fit was excellent and the time to change was under five minutes.In the long run I am sure this will save me a good bit of money. The dealership wanted $65 dollars to replace the existing filter with another simple filter that needs to be replaced every 10k miles. I am interested to see how long this filter lasts before it needs to be cleaned and what will be the costs of the cleaning kit.

Does not fit Hyundai Sonata 2018. Its small size does not fit my car. Where is the credibility? One star it doesn't deserve

Amazon says this product does not fit a 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL with a 2.4L engine. I can tell you it does indeed fit.Installation was easy, and no tools were required. Empty your glove box, remove the thumbturn cams, pop off the support arm, drop the glove box, pop off the air box cover, remove old filter, place the new K&N filter in (logo out and right side up), replace air box cover, lift glovebox and reinstall support arms and cams, and you're done. 10 minutes top.By comparison the dealership (local to me) want's $89.00 installed, for a single use OEM filter. This filter is a better value all around.

This is a well made filter. I gave it only 3 stars because it did not fit my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe as claimed on the Amazon site.

Easy to clean and works good

Great product. You will save money in a long run I have bought engine filters from same company. they are reusable over and over. I do recommend it.

The product build quality is really good, its a shame that the size is not right.I bought the item even after reading the reviews of it being too small, since most of the reviews were of newer models of hyundai sonatas but even for an older model it is still too small.The unfortunate thing is that the manufacturer itself is recommending this size for 2016 model.For those looking for the size measurement of the k&n filter its 22Lx19.4Wx2.9H cm and the oem hyundai cabin filter 97133-c1000 and 97133-c2000 measurements are 22Lx25.2Wx3.2H cm.I hope k&n fixes this issue in their product recommendations.
