good jar candle lids
I use these with a Dutch oven full of sand to heat my green house and they work really well just put the oven on brick to keep heat from the floor and fill with cheap vegetable oil and light them up. work great would be great for mood lighting around the deck or fill with bug oil and keep the pest away.

Perfect DIY lanterns
The media could not be loaded. Wick is absolutely the perfect length for pint jars with the standard lid. Note STANDARD lid is what some refer to as the narrow mouth jars…. NOT WIDE MOUTH! Know your jar size folks. This was the perfect solution to our mosquito problem on our patio in the early mornings when we are outside with our pup. I love the simplicity and functionality. Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions (wear gloves, the wicks are fiberglass. If you have more than a quarter inch of wick burning, it’s too much. Assemble you jar so that the wick touches the bottom of the jar and it’s perfect. THE WICK DOES NOT NEED TRIMMING…ever. If you use the correct type of fuel the wick isn’t burning, the oil is. Yes the wick turns black, but it’s NOT being consumed.

Great DIY torches
I really like these! Very easy to assemble and have been burning wonderfully for months. They are really cute if you put waterproof decals on them or paint them. Fun family project that is great for the patio area!

Great tiki torch alternatives
I was skeptical at first. We were having an outdoor party and needed more torch lighting. I did not want to spend $$ for more tiki torches so I purchased these torch lids. They worked great. I was concerned they would overheat the glass and shatter the jars. There was no problem at all. We had them lit all night they worked great!

Quick and easy!
These are great. We lose power fairly often. I don’t like candles. I prefer oil lamps. With the kit all you need are the ball jars and oil. Love them.

Liked because wouldn't spill easy. Wick is a little long. Have to cut before fill and get oil in it.

I didn't even know these were a thing!
I ordered them when I ordered some canning jars. I'm going to use them as pathway lights for when we go fishing or have company. They would also be good to keep handy for power outages. I saw the idea on Pinterest and tweeked it a tad and I can't wait to see them lit!
