First of all, it DOES work, but not out of the box. Mine came with no instructions, and the plastic wrappers were torn open, so I suspect it had been returned. I had no trouble connecting the bluetooth for sound, but getting the light functions working was a PITA.My remote did come with a battery, but it was dead. I put a new battery in, but the remote still didn't work. I got online to find the app that controls it. Not only is there no app, but the many generic smart home apps dont recognize this bulb, either (they did recognize other lights I have). I gave up and went back to the remote.I finally got it working by enabling "input control" in the bluetooth settings. BUT if you use the remote to control the sound functions, it turns off remote control for the light functions. You need to kick it back over to light function by turning the light white again.Next time I'll spend a little more for a known brand. This isn't what I thought I was buying. It's overpriced based on the functionality.

I purchase this bulb with original price. There is a small remote controller to control the color and it also pause and play the music. This bulb is bigger than I thought，and its light is soft. The only concern is that the remote controller dose not have battery，you need to buy one yourself. It is very convenient to play music，the sound quality is alright. It is not good as a sound bar, but it is okay for this price. I think it is a good gift for your friends.

The seller states that there is an app available for this device on his description for this item I would like to know the app that supports by the iOS ? This was delivered yesterday 12/12/18 and as soon as I installed it worked great. Once I turned off the lighr switch and turned it back on to show my wife the speaker no longer works. It literally worked for only2 hours. The lights still work but not the speaker. So dissatisfied.

There are a number of reasons as to why I would not recommend this product. The main being that the lightbulb would whistle while turned on; it almost gave an “I’m going to explode” feeling. Another reason is that the remote can only truly reach the bulb about a foot away from the lightbulb, a very ineffective way to activate and change the bulb. Though the concept is there, lightbulbs should be lightbulbs and speakers should be speakers.
