Bought to connect the leash of a strong dog (100 lb of muscle) to a rope strung between two trees so that the dog could run up and down and have some freedom in a campground. I didn't want to take a chance with a cheaper product that might be fine for keys on your belt loop (didn't want the dog running away), but didn't need anything serious enough for rock climbing. But I knew the dog would put some stress on it, so I liked that these carabiners had 2,697-pound rating. They worked fine, were easy to use and seem well made. I'm happy I bought them.

These carabineers are pretty good for the price. The body is smooth and appears to be forged. The gate spring operates without binding and snaps close without any fuss. I don't have a way to test the claimed load rating, but I don't plan on using them for anything more than lashing equipment to my truck and bikes for camping and fishing trips.

Have bought these twice over about ten years. The two pack lasts quite a while. Last purchase was the middle of 2019. I work retail and use them for work keys. Five days a week, on and off countless times a day, and these bad boys are holding up great. One is still brand new, the other has some paint chips but is great.Can't comment on how they work for anything heavy duty, but I got tired of the cheap clips breaking in a few weeks (it was always the spring that closed it back) and grabbed these guys. Love them, and have been recommending them to coworkers whenever they mention the key clips.

I've used carabiners for my various keys for years and work in a profession where I carry a keyring with 10+ keys on it.This works wonderfully and will never bend. The spring feels solid even after months of constant use and the lock is a nice touch. It isn't large enough to be uncomfortable when sitting at a desk either, which is a big plus. Gave the second one to my coworker and he loves it.

I’ve used this carabiner for a few different things. It’s a great general purpose clip for backpacks and duffle bags. I’ve also used it in the garden, to help keep melons off the ground. But I think my favorite application is clipping it to my belt so I can carry a water bottle on short hikes. It feels strong and light and the gate swings freely. Much nicer build quality than some of those really cheap hollow ones. It seems like this could support a fair amount of weight. Good buy! I think I’ll even get a few more.

I used these to anchor my jet ski at the lake this summer and I couldn’t be more happy with them. The spin lock always functioned very well even under water. They survived a pretty nasty storm with no damage to them. I highly recommend this product and would buy them again for myself

Small, strong and light

I wasn't sure about ordering this type of item online because you just aren't sure what you are going to get, or if they will end up being different size or durability than you expect... With these.. they are EXACTLY as described, and perfect. They aren't flimsy like some of the other styles, and they screw open and closed easy. No double threading issues like items of poor quality, these ones feel well made and are!You are sitting there thinking.. pfft.. another bot answer or people paid etc.. but nope.. I used these on my lunch pale to help hold other items to it and they work great! So far they've been banged around and dropped a few times because I can be a bit of a clutz sometimes! All in all, if you are looking for something like this.. and you aren't sure if they will be what you see.. Well made and lightweight. Easy to use. We use for livestock lead ropes and tethers because they’re easy and quick to clip/unclip and they’re strong and secure.

We use them on the baby changing bag to attach it to the pram. For this they are perfect quick on and quick off. For climbing not a clue
