Soy Candles: How to Make Good-for-the-Earth, Long-Lasting Candles

This book is truly amazing!!!!!!I bought this book after seeing a soy candle at a friends house. I was curious and have never paid much attention to different types of candles before. But this candle just seemed so different. It did not put off thick smoke or have a blackened jar. The scent of it was very strong.I had to learn more!I am so happy I picked this book. The words flowed smoothly and I never wanted to stop reading it. It was very informative and the pictures were beautiful. You can feel her passion for soy candles in every page. This book was so inspiring I found and ordered a soy candle making kit for myself. I am going to attempt to make my first candles tomorrow. With all the tips and step by step instructions in this book I feel I can do it!

Yea I am intersted in making candles for gifts this year. New project for me.

I wasn't really impressed with this book. I didn't like how the book was set up. It was almost like it had no flow. Back and forth.On a good note it does have a good amount of tips on each page of the recipes BUT a lot of this book is just pictures.

Very basic instructions. Basic recipe for candle, melt. Just it alot of pretty pictures. Very disappointed. I would return this book if it wasn't such a hassle. If you're really looking to get a book on soy candle making this is NOT it

Awful. If you have one Glenda Short book then you have them all. Recycled photos and not clear directions on recipes. Not even close to a how to book. Very disappointed.

It's one of those books which you think is a good idea at the time.It wasn't that informative or inspirational but a book that I've looked at once and will either go in the car boot pile or on the bookshelf.Not impressed.

Great, easy to follow. Gives you all the basics that you need to know.

Great little book for the beginner

Very disappointed in this book. A triumph of style over substance. The knowledge gained could be written on one page. If you want to make soy candles you're better off looking on youTube.
