Fun Instrument
This was a Santa Christmas gift for my son. He had been saying he wanted one and that one day he would get one. Well that day came and he was so excited and it came with a book of Irish songs to learn. I have given him a couple of other books so he has a variety to pick from. It's a fun instrument and the songs are fun to hear and love the sound of the Whistle.

Exactly what it says it is
The first one I got came bent but the seller replaced it. It’s like every other low cost whistle I’ve seen.I do wish it came with some kind of case so that I can toss it in my bag without the mouth pice getting dirty

Good For Beginners. Not a Concert Piece
This is an Irish whistle. It's a simple instrument really. You blow into it, and it produces sounds. It makes different sounds if you cover different holes. The quality of such an instrument will lie in how it performs at this. And this one is kinda...meh. I thought it would be better, because it's from Ireland. Kind of how you expect the Swiss to make good watches or Germans to make good optics. But it's just...meh. The idiom of "you get what you pay for" is still true today as ever, and at this price, this is an unbeatable deal for someone wanting to learn to play an Irish whistle. You get good, and you buy a better instrument. This one sounds...off. It's not smooth and dulcet, especially on the flourishes. It has a tendency to squawk on you. Most will do this if you're not careful, but this one will do it even if you are. Clarkes and Dixons are better, but they cost about thrice as much. So buy this to practice on, then get a really good one. This one, I keep in my bagpipe case to mess around with when I don't want to annoy everyone in a three-block radius. It's really okay, just not the best.

Sounds great
I bought this for my Classical Conversations student. It sounds great and now we can easily tell which one is hers given that it’s green!

Takes Some Work
It does take some practice & work! Don't expect instantly wiggle your fingers and get a tune. Breath is as important as fingering. I was getting pretty close, however, to getting recognizable tunes by the end of an hour or a little more.

True Celtic Sound
It was all that I had expected and more. Easy to learn and easy to play. Lovely tone quality.

Great buy
Maybe it was the luck of the Irish, but my sneak preview is that the whistle has great intonation, which was a concern. Seems to play well. It is a gift, so my testing was limited, but was shipped fast, looks good, and again the intonation is really good so hard to go wrong with this one.

Difficult to play
We have three different brands of tin/Irish whistles at our house right now, so I'm comparing to a Clarke tin whistle in D, and a Woodi wooden Irish whistle. This Feadog whistle was the most difficult to play in the correct octave. My daughter really struggled to sound the low D while her younger brother (who is 6) could easily accomplish it on his Clarke. She could easily play the Clarke and my Woodi. It seems like the mouth piece on this whistle is a little smaller or something, and it's difficult to blow gently enough to sustain a lower pitch. Otherwise I don't have complaints about the quality of the whistle. An experienced tin whistle musician might have an easier time, but this was not for us as relative beginners. :)
