Ling & Ting: Not Exactly the Same! (Passport to Reading Level 3)

CB, 8 years old. I like this book because it is funny and short. I like the Mixed Up story.

My five year old has loved this book for the past four months. Since she received it, it’s been her absolute favorite and we read it together (and now she reads it on her own) all the time. All of Grace Lin’s books are terrific, and this one is a real “standout.”

Bought this to go with our Logic of English curriculum. My 7 year old daughter really loved it and I thought it was clever and funny.

I love Grace Lin, she is such a wonderful storyteller! These books are charming and great for beginner readers (K-1 especially).

This book is the perfect level for my first grade rising readers. The book includes feelings and stories that the students can relate to. There are also many words that they can read on their own. Thanks Grace Lin!

My 7 year old daughter is a good, but reluctant reader. It is hard to find books she will willingly read. This book was one of the few she reads over and over again. The reading level is probably too low for her and it doesn't push her reading skills very much, but at least she's reading! I would definitely recommend.

These books are so boring. I don't mind reading certain children's books over and over again, but these ones? Ugh. I hoped for something a little more imaginative for my twins.
