Good amp.
It works well. For our application, we should have gotten the CDi 2000 to get more power output.

Bought three, all died around the 3 year mark
Three of these were installed in the event space that I work in. We've had them for a little over 3 years now. Our event space gets used day/night so the amps are on 24/7. About 6 months ago, we got to work and two amps we're dead. After a phone call with Crown, they told us it must have been a power spike even though we use a quality surge suppressor and a UPS. Our third amp and other gear in the rack was just fine. Our warranty had expired just weeks before. So we sent both of them in to Crown to be repaired at a price of $600+. There is no fuse or reset on these that you can take care of yourself. Must be sent in. That sucks. Fast forward to today, we powered down that amps for some work being done on our electrical panel and what do you know...the third amp didn't come up! Dead like the other two. No power spikes today! Not sure we're gonna get this one repaired, turning into a money pit. It's been suggested that our power is dirty but we've had it checked and prior to this we had 3 Yamaha power amps that lasted from 2001 to 2016 and they still worked when we pulled them out! Granted the new Crowns sound a lot better and I love the delay in their dsp. So here we are, having to get another repaired for $300. Just wanted to share. Buying an extended warranty might be worth it. When they're working, they're great, but it's hard to justify spending this much on something that's gonna crap out in 3 years.
