Great books for baby!
My husband chuckled at the titles of these books. These are great. They are so cute with their movable parts and touchy feely pictures. Stimulating for my baby who loves to touch things.

My Grandson's Favorite Books!
My 11-month old grandson LOVES these books. He wants them to read to him over and over again. It is our daily ritual to grab one, two or all of them to read for as long as he will sit there. Since they are board books, they withstand his rough handling. The only thing we have to watch, is that he doesn't pull off the moving part of the picture. He did this to his first one and we reordered a replacement. However, he knows now not to pull it off.

Should be named tongues, noses, and mouths.
I didn't really know what to expect when i bought these books online... But, this is what I had assumed - each page had a pull tab that caused an animal to move... For example: one would be an alligator going munch munch on an apple.... one would be a squirrel eating an acorn crunch crunch... Yes, I really thought the books were focused on 1. eating because of the munch title, 2. smelling because of the sniff title, and 3. tasting because of the lick title etc ... HOWEVER this is NOT how the books actually are.Firstly, the books are really about body parts (not senses or actions) - the books are about mouths, noses, and tongues doing lots of different things and looking lots of different ways (so the books should have been titled as such - just like the books also by this author called tails and heads).Secondly, I really thought the books were packed full of pull tabs which is a BIG reason I bought the books. HOWEVER not every page has a pull tab - there are only 4 pull tabs a book and one of those pull tabs is the front cover (which is an action/image repeated inside the book so it feels like only 3 pull tabs). Two pages per book did have textures to touch which lessened the absence of pull tabs, but the rest of the pages were normal.Lastly, the book Munch was at times odd. Why would you say some mouths don't know when to shut blah blah blah? That seems a bit rude.. especially when it was the only character with a bow. Plus the drawing in this book was hit and miss for me.... I really did not like how the pig was drawn (though he looks fine in the other two books). I also did not like the pelican, catfish, stork, or the blah blah hippo as all of their eyes were bulgy, BUT i LOVED the alligator, goat, tamarin, hyena, bunny, tiger, and mouse. Men in my family have a hard time expressing themselves so I don't want them to be discouraged to share by the blah blah part nor do I want them to look down on those who do share - therefore I may not keep the Munch book around.Overall, the Sniff and Lick books are the best because of their cute charm... and because of some of the failings in the Munch book. But, don't expect a lot of pull tabs... only 3 a book plus the cover.

Completes the set!
Got this set to go along with the “ Heads” and “Tails” books ...to make a complete set! We will have to replace the “ Heads” book already because the granddaughter has already worn it out!😬

Great Books, you and your child will love them!
These three books are filled with tabs to pull and features to touch. The illustrations are fun and the poetry flows well. Good vocabulary. My baby (15 months) made short work of many of the paper features, but armed with a hot glue gun I have been fixing what I can.I keep the books put away and let her read them and work the tabs in my lap, but even then things get ripped off.

Wonderful!!!
Love these books and so does my little one! Each book focuses on one sense to help them learn. There are so many different textures (things that are rough, sticky, soft, etc) and flaps and things to pull. What better way to make your kids fall in love with books? They are interactive and yet short to hold the little ones attention span. As my little guy ages I will definitely be adding more Van Fleet books to his collection!

Perfect tab book for little hands!
This collection is an absolute classic. I also have “Dance” by Matthew Van Fleet but the wide tabs on these books are easier for my 15mo son to interact with. He loves reading these pretty much every morning!

Great books for babies to toddlers!!
These are ace!! My one year old has been obsessed with this author and all his books since about 9 months!! Some of them have plastic over the bits (sadly not these) to protect little fingers but I’ll buy again when he breaks them as he has so much fun with them!!

My grandson loves these books!
My grandson has loved each and every Van Fleet book. He has Heads, Tails, Dogs and the Sniff! Lick! Munch! trio. From the age of 9 months and beyond, these have been his favorite books to read. He loves the movement, the texture, etc. I highly recommend these books.
