Worth The Money!
My set up is an LG C8 OLED, Fios using a Sony AVR for video switching. The LG has a phenomenal picture when fed a good signal. As such, streaming via Netflix, Amazon Prime, Google Play with a 4K / HDR signal is frankly mesmerizing. The issue was with my Fios signal. I noticed it was not nearly as sharp (soft edges on text and a bit of blooming). I calibrated the TV which helped but still not good enough with much of the SD and HD content coming through Fios. I took a gamble and decided to purchase this and installed it between the AVR and TV and results have been very good to excellent. Playing around with the settings resulted in me using Auto for resolution and heavy edge enhancement. The demo is really cool as you can see the before and after processing results. I'm going to fiddle with the test patterns a bit to see if there is any more to get out of the unit but really very good right out of the box.

Awesome upscaling...
Great for getting the dish network upscaled from 1080i to 1080p, makes a huge difference in you picture quality, Just be sure you have a spare usb port on tv to be able to turn on and off without having to use remote to do it because the remote will not turn on and off till they fix firm wear..But all and all a great little product..

Mini 4K Scaler gets the job done!
Maybe it's luck but I so far have had nothing but a good experience with the Mini thus far. I am using it with a Sony VPL VW1100ES. Upscaling DirecTV to 4K while watching preseason NFL football has never looked so clean. The Ring Suppression has worked wonders. I have tested it with a few different broadcasts and going back and forth between 4K and pass through has shown me the proof in the pudding. Numbers on their jerseys and the score boxes look so clear. Their VRS Clearview chip is the real deal! I tested Blu-ray 3D and it worked fine too. Blu-ray at 1080p/24 passes through without a hiccup. I also use a DVDO Duo and an Oppo 103D and all work fine together in the same chain... Using the IR extender from Monoprice they recommend (model 8060) also makes life waaaaaaay easier from your seat. Lastly, the EDID setting will really come in handy for those skittish TVs that don't know what type of signal they can accept. Finally, the bigger the screen the better the evidence of just what this little black box can do. We have a 133" curved screen and sitting front row or back row you still get an amazing image! The a Mini has found a home here which is shocking considering I was expecting to return after reading the first couple Reviews.

Worthless and promptly returned
This product is worthless. I was very excited about it but skeptical. After getting it connected, my excitement faded as I quickly realized it did absolutely nothing for my picture. It took some adjusting to get it to work. There was no difference at all. I'm not sure what the issue is but this product is a major failure. I promptly returned it. The only thing I was impressed with was how easy the return procedure was. Save your money on this one.

Might Be More Trouble Than It Is Worth.
I have to say i'm slightly disappointed by the mini, i struggled to find any benefits to use the scaling or deinterlacing on 1080i broadcast's compared to my 4k Samsung TV which does a noticeably better job on both fronts, where I do feel it has potential is with good quality 1080p content (via my HTPC), the ability to bring out extra detail in a picture without making it look overly sharp is a welcome addition to my set up. One quirk of the mini which is concerning me is that no matter where in the chain i plug the mini in on my system it is upsetting my the handshake between my TV and Receiver, My Samsung just randomly starts 'talking' to the iscan mini instead of my Yamaha RX-V673 leaving me unable to get Audio out of the Blu-ray player (which isn't plugged into the mini, my Pioneer BDP-LX58 does all the scaling and detail enhancement that the mini can do better), usually i unplug the mini and rescan Anynet for the set to find the receiver but just yesterday i had to unplug all my cables do a factory reset on the receiver and reconnect all the cables omitting the mini from the chain to get it working again, then i re-plug in the mini and in a couple of days it will of identified itself as an audio control device to the TV and i will have to start again. I can't find any setting in the mini menus to stop it identifying itself it as an audio device which is really frustrating.

OUT OF THE BOX READY TO ROLL
I bought this with some suspicion it may not work, but the other options cost 700 or 1400, so I decided to take the risk. It was super easy to connect and just out of the box it worked great in my home theater with blue ray movies, satellite TV and internet for this price it is superb I had a home theater technician come for some sound issues I had ,not related to this item. And he told me image was great. I have an old pioneer Kuro FPJ1 projector nothing fancy. I then connected to my son computer HDMI game terminal and game graphics became outstanding in a samsung LED TV. You can still make your own adjustments if you please and save them but I am not into that yet I bought a second one already for my son I truly recommend it

I like it!
Works well, but not as well as the DVDO model it replaced. However it's much easier to use, much smaller, and 60% less money.

Works very good! I am using it to upscale a 1080i satellite signal to 1080p. The video enhancement features are excellent. I have it connected to a Panasonic 55 inch VT50 plasma and it improves the video quality to nearly that of my 64 inch Samsung F8500 plasma (which was voted best tv made 2yrs in a row, 2013 and 2014). It adds depth to the picture and really brings out the detail. The multiple settings and range of adjustments allows you to tweak the picture to just the way you prefer it. I have not used it to upscale to 4k, so cannot verify it's performance for that purpose, but considering all else highly recommend this product.

Ótimo up scaler
