Works so well. I make my dog’s food every week in a Dutch oven and couldn’t get the ground meat to mash so I was having to transfer the food to an aluminum bowl and do it there - which still wasn’t easy or very effective. This thing just works so easily and effortlessly. Just stir or twist and you’ve got ground meat. Also good at mixing everything else with it.

This works. Worth the purchase. Handle is comfortable. It will last for years to come.

I prepare my own dog food at home for my pups. It takes a lot of ground turkey, veggies, etc. and two very large pots/pans to make a batch that I can freeze, too. I was using spatulas and potato mashers to do a lot of the mashing for me. I was telling one of my friends about it and she told me she uses this Farberware meat and potato masher for ground meat. It's a different shape than my other tools and is made from nylon, so it's lightweight and won't scratch like metal. I ordered it when it dropped in price on Amazon and used it for the first time making my dog food. I was amazed at how well it worked for everything! It was easy to break up the ground turkey (and did a better job than a spatula), and mashed everything else together well, too. Besides using the tool to make the dog food, I can see myself using this new utensil for using ground meat to make tacos. I definitely recommend this handy tool if you make your own dog food...or human food!

Works well and has good weight.

Great and durable. It has survived multiple washes in the dishwasher and no sign of cracking. Does a great job breaking up ground meat in the skillet. The material is also sturdy and not flimsy. Im not afraid im going to break it if I push too hard.

I should have bought this silicone meat smasher sooner. It works so much better than just using a spatula or the metal potato masher. Also, the silicone covering is nice as opposed to those nylon or plastic mashers that could release small plastic particles into your food and possibly scratch my enamel cookware. I wish they had it in red though to match my other kitchen tools.

This is the best tool I’ve bought in a long time. I highly recommend it when breaking up and cooking ground beef or sausage. So much easier.

I have had mine for over a year now. Very handy and well made. I use it for mashing potatoes and find it is great for breaking up clumps of ground beef when browning.

I'm not one for extra gadgets, but this does a surprisingly good job at breaking the meat up while it cooks. Seems durable.

I love this tool!! It makes cooking mince easier than chopping it with a spatula or spoon. I wish I’d found it years ago. It’s a bit like the potato masher when it comes to fitting in the drawer, but worth it. One of these will be going into the “moving out of home” box for my kids.

Was a bit dubious about it when it first arrived and now I use it almost daily. Great for blending minced meats, herbs etc. Made Xmas stuffing a doddle to do and is great for breaking up mince meat in the pan. It's made of sturdy plastic and is easy to wash. Wish I'd known about it sooner.

Fantastic for breaking up mince meat when cooking - wish I had known about this item sooner. Price is right too. Even my husband used and liked it and he isn’t one for trying new items I purchase:). Don’t find it so great for mashing potatoes I will stay with my potato masher. But this is hands down the best item for mince meat - highly recommend.
