My son was so excited that we could not wait to test it out.My kid loves the truck and we got a pretty cool slow-mo... movie style.So... my 5 centsThe pros:- Very... very fast- Looks awesome and mean- Feels heavy (good?) made strong-Crash resistant- Easy to setup- A lot of funThe cons- The battery lasts about 35 minutes (Although it is stated in the packaging, in real life, it feels too quick for the fun)- It gets a bit of time to get a hold of the controls without just spinning.- For my liking, it takes a few too many steps to get to the battery.

Price/what you have: 5 stars!This item definetely not for professionals but more than beginners too!First received i checked dogbones and dogbone connectors such a tire wheel and shaft. Its “Good Metal!”Suspensions are plastic but thick and springs are pretty fashion shinning,Plastic material “definetely” good for this price, if you like diy hobby you can even upgrade with brushless.(if you know how you do it)Tires and tire nut and wheel looks nice and tires quality very good.Rear shift pretty strong you need to be sensitive on it. Transmitter is simple, looklike okay, and Radio system working smooth and connecting less then a “1 Second” and operationg distance more than acceptable if you use good brand battery on transmitter.Final result;You get more than what you paid! If you are beginner or not cholic for this RC hobby this toy deserves 5 stars. It could deserves price range between 90$-150$

I got this RC Car to have some fun with my kids on weekends, or other times as well. We have plenty of room to drive this thing around and it has done well on gravel, grass, dirt, and leaves. I haven't driven it around in wet conditions much because I don't want to risk damaging any electronic components, although it does look like it could handle them without too much risk.This gets 4 stars because it is fun to drive, easy to set-up, and it goes pretty fast. If the battery life was longer, or the battery compartment had been designed to accomodate longer last batteries or upgrades it would have gotten 5 stars. It looks like to get options with longer battery life you have to go up in price tiers, so I just got a couple of extra batteries and with three charged battery packs you will get ~35m of use.

This is an awesome RC car that is much better than lower priced cars i have used in the past. In the box is the remote control, the car itself, In the package is the car itself, the remote controller, battery, USB cable for charging and extra parts. We charged up the battery for some time and then took it out to have some fun.The build quality of the expected for a mid to higher end car. The tires are large and worked well on both concrete and bare dirt. The speed ramps up insanely quick so it might be more geared towards older children or teenagers. Each wheel also has its own shock suspension so it bounces around the rocks with no problem at all.

This car is well worth the money ($65). The only issue is with what you have to do to get the battery in/out and turn the power to the car on/off and that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. You have to take 4 cotter pins out of the plastic shell of a body, pull it off, remove another battery door by turning out 4 little levers and then you can access everything. I don't know why they didn't put that all on the underside since you can only get 10-15 minutes of time out of each battery and even if you don't drain the battery you have to pull it apart just to turn it off. Other than this it is very fast for the money. Not sure if it actually does 42kmh but I bet its pretty close. The main parts all seem very sturdy and I don't understand how anyone could possibly be breaking pieces of it without slamming into something at a pretty high speed (which would happen with any rc car). I was hesitant about buying this thing because of those reviews but now that I have the car I am not at all worried about it easily breaking without a severe crash. Takes around 2-3 hours to recharge for 10-15 of use. Buy extra batteries/chargers. It even comes with extra body pins and a couple of plastic gears that I am guessing are for the transmission if/when it wears out.

One design change id make right off the bat is the location of the on/off switch. You have to pull all 4 body pins, take the body off, unlatch the battery box and then turn it on or off. The car is quick and fun to drive, however, one small jump 3 days into playing with it in the front yard has already created an issue with the rear drive. I would expect something that is hobby level to hold up a little better than that. The car seems to be of good quality otherwise but these few issues would deter me from recommending to others.

Good little truck, parts seem strong and trucks a little quike so need a descently good driver. Lol

My son 11 was very excited about the truck and was having a lot of fun running in the grass and dirt. After 8-10 times he is sadly disappointed that the rear end gears (there are 3 knuckle type gears) stripped out inside the differential. My son was taught to be careful and not crash the truck which he did not. The truck no longer moves and the rear end differential needs to be replaced. You may want to spend a little more money on a Traxxas RC truck so you kid can enjoy the product for a decent amount of time.
