Sturdy, looks nice, but heavier than I expected.
I am using this to keep laptop off my lap. This is the first piece of bamboo I ordered and I was surprised at the weight. I didn't pay attention to the weight specification. I like the adjustable height on the legs as I can put one side on the couch arm without using the leg and adjust the other side to the desired height. Depending on where I sit the down legs move up and down. The only down side is that the legs have a solid bottom left (think of |_| ) and for a larger person it can be a bit of squeeze sometimes. If you are using it as a serving tray for someone in bed then it would work great.

Love it!.....But one thing I don't like about it
I really like this table. I just got it today to open so I may change the stars. I love the little drawer, though it is small, but it could hold erasers, or hair clips, a pen sideways small stuff. Still nice to have.If you are getting this to use on a recliner, make sure before you buy any serving desk that you measure the splay of the legs or make sure they tell you the width with the legs open to lock in. I did that as some of he desk's legs wouldn't have fit the width of my recliner between the arms. That would have been a bummer. This fits great. And it is high adjustment and more than most. Totally fits over my legs with room to spare. One thing I don't like is where the stopper is positioned for the computer. Maybe it works good on a bed, but in a chair it is too far to the left. And it is already bothering my left arm because I want the computer in the middle of the tray when I type, otherwise when too far left, it is hard to type. But then I looked at others and most seem to be the same way. So I didn't take a star off for that. And I was excited about that feature. So now the stopper is back in the drawer.

Strong and sturdy
At first, I thought that this was more heavy than what I would liked, but after using it, I think that it’s a good thing. If a laptop were to rest on a light plastic, it would have a better chance of toppling over.I often work from home with my laptop resting on my knees because the bottom gets way too hot for my lap. This table makes it so much more comfortable because now I don’t even have to rest it on my legs at all. I wish that I got this a lot sooner. The wood is thick and absorbs the heat well so that the bottom of the table doesn’t even feel hot. My room gets hot enough as it is, since I don’t use an AC, so this is a nice plus. I do wish that there was an edger on the side because I’m afraid my laptop might slide off one day. I balance as much as possible, though, by keeping my laptop in the middle, not on the edge. This resolves another issue, that some other reviewers pointed out, where the left table leg is too close to their left leg. The bottom holder is strong enough to hold up the laptop even with just its left side on it, as shown in my photo. Besides, if it ever did slide off to the right, it would just fall on my bed, so that wouldn’t be a problem.I don’t know if I will be ever brave enough to place a drink on the cupholder, but the right side has come in handy when I have a meal. I just put my drink on my nightstand and my bowl on this.I haven’t used the little drawer yet, but I’ll probably put a pen and notepad in there someday. That is very well-made too. It opens and closes easily and has a stopper so that it won’t fall off when you slide it open.Because it’s so heavy, I wish that there would be side walls on the edge instead of four legs. I know that would make it even more heavy, but at least the weight wouldn’t be concentrated on just four points, digging into my mattress.

Keeps things cool
This is functional and allows me to be able to work in bed and sitting on the couch or in a chair. The legs adjust to increase the height if needed. The top adjusts to allow me to type comfortably.

Perfect for book readers
My granddaughter loved it. She likes to read in bed and this helped raise the book up higher.

Legs don't lock in place
Overall, a decent laptop desk for bed use but it needs some improvements. I like that the legs are fully adjustable and not limited to prerouted ridges as some other models are. However its not always easy to adjust both legs to a secure, level position on the first try. I find myself having to turn it over 2-3 times to make adjustments to ensure the right and lefts sides are level once seated with the laptop on top. The most frustrating issue for me is that the legs do not lock into position to ensure that they don't collapse inward if you move around on your bed while you have a laptop and mouse sitting on it. My mouse has slid off the right side and gone flying across the floor many times due to a leg suddenly collapsing inward while trying to get comfortable. So, I would never trust having a drink sitting on the "cup holder" ring. The overall construction looks good and solid, just wish the legs had position locks to avoid collapsing accidents. The cutouts in the space that sit under the laptop have helped tremendously with heat issues compared to solid bed desks, though the inexpensive bamboo constrution means lots of rough spots in various places all over. I needed to sand down a few edges on the legs and underside of the desk where there were some rough edges with little pokey splinters. Not a bad buy for the price, but I would have preferred something with locking legs.

Laptop wonder!
Reading my kindle - it’s nice not to have to hold it all the time. Plus for my laptop when on the couch.
