I’m amazed at how perfect this bible was. I was so nervous about buying a used book that I couldn’t actually look at and go through myself but it’s basically perfect. It does look used but there were no markings, pages were nice and the cover (front and back) are in great condition!! So thankful 💕

I purchased this book many years ago but it got ruined in a water leak in my home. I finally purchased it again and my only regret is that I should have purchased it way sooner… It’s the perfect read for those who are looking for deeper explanations in scripture

I have a tendency to go through Bibles because of underlining and rereading stuff. This is my fourth time purchasing this particular Bible. I love the New King James version and I don't like study Bibles because I feel like that's someone's opinion of what the Bible is teaching. But the sides of this Bible, on each page, have like a little devotional to go along with the scriptures so it helps as a life application!

Have one already since 2006, but the binding is coming apart. So wanted another just like it , because I like how it reads.

I've bought many different bibles over the past few years, and have to say that this is one of my favourite ones. It's a large heavyweight tome though, but that just adds to the enjoyment. Max has chosen the NKJV as the translation to base his own views upon which is one of the best versions around currently for validity and holding firmly to the Greek and Hebrew interpretations.There's a nice opening page by the author outlining how best to study the bible and he then moves on to presenting an inspirational page at the beginning of each book. On almost every page he has further notes in the form of Life Lessons - again, a mix of inspirational story which is his trademark, an observation of what his take is on the passages, and a short passage on how to best apply the "lesson".And finally at the back there's the usual dictionary and concordance to facilitate understanding of terms and getting a better grasp of certain concepts.Overall, I think it's a solid and useful addition to anyone's library and one that is perfect for a Wedding gift or other similar occasion.

I’m not religious but my family is, so I know bibles...I love this bible for applying to my life in general with its messages, it has some great lessons and is more open minded than most bibles.
