u-Box Wrangler CB Radio Dash Mount Bracket Stand Holder Compatible with 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ & Jeep Wrangler LJ Unlimited 2004-2006

Bought this for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee knowing that it will probably fit cause of how similar the dash is to the wrangler. It works perfectly! To get it to work in an XJ takes a lot of work, I had to remove the radio bezel, gauge bezel, steering wheel clamshell, knee plate, entire top defrost vent and the A pillar trim just to get to the screws to take the piece of plastic off so I could drill some holes in it. I also had to use a dremel to cut the A pillar trim, which is not noticeable with the radio installed anyways. Even with the bodged together install it is incredibly sturdy. The bracket has a very nice and durable finish and the mounting holes are in just the right spot. Worth the hassle of install in an XJ. (I rated the install difficulty as five to account for the differences in vehicles, if your buying for an XJ I’d rate it as two and a half but that’s not the sellers fault)

Installed easily. Solid. Fits my GMRS radio perfectly. Due to position, easy to hear without any extra speaker.

I bought this after seeing it installed in another Jeep TJ on a trail ride. It is super easy to install and sturdy while on the trails.

This is my second one, they added an extra set of holes to give you a height adjustment on the newer ones but I didn't get screws with mine this time, stock ones worked just wasn't countersunk the reason for the 4 star's instead of 5.

Fine. Shakes a lot so you’ll need to add some padding between the side dash and be bracket as well as on the cab itself to prevent it from slamming into the windshield frame. I’m using uniden 505xl CB.
