Soil PH Meter, Soil Moisture Meter 3 in 1, Soil Tester with Function of Testing PH Value/Light Intensity/Soil Moisture, for Garden, Farm, Lawn, Indoor & Outdoor Plants(No Battery Needed)

This is the second one I have purchased! These are amazing when it comes to not overwatering you’re planes. It’s so hot here in Texas you are always tempted to water your plants and don’t realize that there is still a lot of water in the soil depending on the type of soil you use. This has probably saved my plants from dying from being over watered several times this year. I plan on buying more and putting them around the whole garden!

The moisture meter works perfectly. I don’t know if the ph is accurate and the light meter doesn’t work at all but the moisture meter is what I really wanted so I still gave it 5 stars

Used product to test soil pH in a large garden. While the light meter (I can see light with my eyes) and the moisture meter (I can judge moisture by digging down a few inches & looking at & feeling the soil) appeared to work o.k., the pH meter read 7.5 in all areas tested, even a compost pile composed of manure & sawdust. I tested several of the areas chemically & the pH was very acid 6.2 to 6.3 as I had expected. At the suggestion of a neighbor who is a biochemist, I tried cleaning the electrodes with a rough paper towel to remove any oxidation but got the same results. There seem to be many sellers offering this same unit under different branding. I would be leary of all of them.

I bought this for my wife so she can take care of her small garden. You will not need any battery for this meter. There are 3 measurements: PH level, moisture of soil and light level. All you need is insert the probe tip to root level and change the switch the correct setting. Please clean the tip after every use.

I am sooo happy I found this product! I started a herb garden and I always have a black thumbs when it comes to gardening. My plants weren't doing so well so I googled what to do and a product like this was suggested. I found this one on Amazon and so happy I did. There is a list on the back of the package which tells you the levels for different plants. I suggest anyone like me that struggles with plants to give this a try.

Easy to use... liked the readings it is very easy to see. Only can hope it's accurate as I am testing my soil for what nutrients I may need to add for my growing season.

I didn't realize how deep the probes had to be to get a good reading. So be sure you have at least 6 inches of soil depth. You can't get a reading by just sticking the probes an inch or so into the soil so it's not great for small plants in small containers. I don't know how accurate the pH or light functions are but the moisture indicator seems to give a pretty good reading of when to water and help prevent overwatering.
