Perfect size for most fashion doll brands. Will fit Barbie, Monster High, Descendants, and other similar sized dolls. As a viol. Not a cello. Probably want a 5 or 6 inch cello for those dolls of those scale.Viols are the predecessors to the classic string instruments you’re more familiar with. They come in a lot of sizes. The character/doll I bought this for plays a viol obviously to make it a relative detail in the review, and the 3in cello works better than a 3in violin to fill the instruments details.Great attention to details on this as well. The peg is detachable and stays in very well if you want this for a cello. Will need clear rubber bands or glue if it is going to be posed in concert use by a doll or figurine.

Bought this as a gift for somone else. But I ended up keeping it cuz its so amazing. I mean. The details is magical. My apologies to my fri3nd but this is mine.
